It's the same thing as Jasper no difference, The issue with ChatGPT for grammar is that it uses words that are not well known to others. This is a fundamental problem with ChatGPT generally. Grammarly isn't the best either, but there are better on the market too.

@@dave-swift I agree but tell that to the apps like Superhuman, Trello, Shortwave and others. Jasper is the only one similar that you can tell it to write at a different level because it allows for prompt control, most the apps that have AI, don't allow that.

The thing grammarly does which I really like is underline or highlight potential grammar issues. Things I would not have spotted without it being underlined. It does that without any action from the user, It's just underlined automatically Is that a feature of pismo? It didn't look like it from the demo. I guess my point is I wouldn't know that I needed to correct some text in the first place, so wouldn't check If it's not highlighted ;)

Hey Ademcface... good point! No Pismo doesn't actively read your text, you have to submit it to the LLM. In my experience Grammarly is a massive resource hog because it's analyzing everything. So like most things, there are pros and cons. Personally, I use the built-in spell check on MacOS for spelling/grammar mistakes and use an LLM for writing assistance when needed. Thanks for the feedback! It is a very valid point.

Yes, it check grammar and it supports all languages that GPT-4o mini supports (which is over a hundred).

Tried it…the user interface is really bad! Confusing and difficult to find around. I guess one need a proper AI to figure out how to use it. The intentions of the founders is great though…but they missed the target. Looks like they launched a too early Beta for public testing.

Yes -- It is for windows too. Pismo supports multiple languages for text improvement and translation. You can also create custom prompts in languages other than English.
