Everything you need to know about the Profitec Go. The Profitec Go is a single-boiler espresso machine from the German company Profitec. It was designed for fast heating and low energy consumption. We summarize how this works in practice in our test report and video.

Good coffee is our passion. On our KZbin channel, you will learn everything you need to know to make good coffee yourself. Our main channel is in German. We test many espresso machines and want to share our findings with the Spanish-speaking world. Through our work with coffee producers in South and Central America, we speak Spanish.
As coffee makers, we run a coffee school in Basel, Switzerland. In our courses, we teach coffee knowledge from the plant to the cup. Roasting, sensory, barista. All this knowledge is not abstract for us, but comes from everyday life. In Nicaragua, we operate the Santa Rita coffee farm, in Basel we have a roastery and the Frühling café, as well as the Kaffeemacher café at the Basel SBB train station.
Our team is led by German and Swiss coffee masters. Benjamin Hohlmann was the German Cup Tasters Champion in 2017 and the Swiss Brewers Cup Champion in 2014. Philipp Schallberger was Swiss Barista Champion twice. Felix Hohlmann is the runner-up roaster in Switzerland and was four times runner-up Barista. We are 4 Q Graders for Arabica and 2 Robusta Graders. #Kaffeemacher

Great video, thanks for the English video. I've watched some of your videos on the DF64P series of grinders with English subtitles and found them very useful. You mention the Temperature Offset on the Profitec Go, can you please advise what temperature Celsius you recommend? By default mine was set E1 setting was set to 10C however I adjusted to 14C and am getting much better results. From checking on Reddit and other forums, some Profitec machines have E1 set to 15C or 14C. Thanks

Steaming, now that I'm used to it, is actually not bad at all. Didn't your partner in the full video in German said it was steaming and rolling just fine? His latte art came out nice, so is there really something that you're not happy about?

At first sight the Profitec Go looks a great machine. Rewarding reviews and so on After some weeks of use I returned it back. Cut corners and sharp edges all around. Each time a hard ratling noise. The innerparts are topnotch but the build finish quality is so poor and cheap. Definately not worth the price.

@@danielfenech Don't listen to this bot. There are countless comments on Profitec go videos formatted identically (1 sentence per line) that bash it and say they returned it. It's really odd, especially considering some of the comments recommend ECM, which is a Profitec sister brand.
