Each pool of water (and each area of water in some bigger bodies) calls from a different spawning list, for example the different ocean pools as you have seen, fishing in the reeds, fishing in a waterfall, and so on, and to get the REALLY valuable and rare fish, you need to go find the super obscure secret locations, like say… the parkour path off the already semi secret outer edge drop off… or in the cave area in the hard to reach upper pool…

You really need to explore more, you have been so close to some secret spots several times as you ran past or tried to get somewhere, but you always go back to the same spots.

You were getting better stars before because you used to go out of your way for ripples, now you stare at your cat too much and ignore ripples when they show up. You are better off running around to find ripples and secret spots than to just fish randomly

You should really invest in luck, it will make every catch have way better chances at catching bigger fish, starier fish, getting extra stuff, finding rare varieties, and rolling higher on the value chart too

Buy the best cola, not the cheap stuff, it gives a better boost and for Way longer, also the other buffs may be well worth too. But, id say get the permanent upgrades to luck first instead
