Richardson having a higher grade missing 20 throws and not throwing a touchdown than Goff is why people don’t take these grades seriously

You didn’t even discuss how injured the lions were coming into this game how many starters were out and how many players they lost throughout the game and still got it done. The interior rush by Detroit was incredible and Alim McNeil and Reeder crashed the pocket 10 times throughout the game.

Did ya'll ever stop to think if the Colts hadn't committed those penalties, the play would have been a Sack instead of a 25 yard gain?

right? the reason the colts had those big plays in the first place was because of the penalties.

Lions were never threatened in this game. The game was not closer than the score indicated. Lions could have blown them out. Colts were one dimensional and AR could not score in the red zone. Colts not only didn't score a touchdown but couldn't score a single point in the 2nd half. All Detroit had to do was pound the rock and run out the clock.
@tw6224

there were countless big plays that were called by for penalties some which were very questionable. There was also a touchdown and a big play dropped when the ball was placed the the colts players chest. If the colts covert those touchdowns without the little mistakes and numerous penalties this game would have been very close

I'm going to disagree that this felt like a 24-21 game. Never once felt doubt in my mind. Lions had control from about the 2nd quarter on. The most concerned I was during the game was with the various Lions injuries throughout, and not really anything the Colts did/were doing

What they mean is that for people that didn't watch the game only look at the score it was more because the colts beat themselves & not because the Lions dominated them
@michaelwagner7445
@michaelwagner7445 59 минут бұрын
@JasonLovell-pv8ed huh? The Lions very much dominated. The Lions front stopped the Colts run game, and made them one dimensional. The Lions offense possessed the ball and dominated T.O.P. and scored in the Red Zone.
@JasonLovell-pv8ed
@JasonLovell-pv8ed 16 минут бұрын
@michaelwagner7445 I get what you're saying, but the colts hurt themselves with penalties, they had at least 5 plays of 20+ yards called back cuz of stupid penalties & those were drive killers, olgeltree dropping a wide open td pass, Mitchell not getting his feet inbound on that big 40 yard pass, it was all the little stupid stuff that colts did wrong that made the score look it was just a dominant win by the Lions when that wasn't actually the case
@michaelwagner7445
@michaelwagner7445 9 минут бұрын
@@JasonLovell-pv8edagree to disagree I guess. The penalties happened because of the Lions pressure. Multiple times there were big plays that only happened because of a blatant hold. Otherwise without the 'smart' hold it was a sack and the plays never would have happened. That's part of the game. Ogletree is a self-inflicted wound, sure. But to act like drops don't happen is odd...turns out worse players drop passes and struggle in pass protection

point differential is double for lions over phily - lions will beat all commers - detroit has played a tougher schedule - no td allowed in last 10 quarters with half their defense on the ir - most of them including hutch will be back for the playoffs with fresh legs - whoever they play is going to need a lot of luck

Goff is a dink donk thrower and game manager with tons of talent around him with a elite o line. AR didn't get sacked or throw a interception yesterday. Rolls reversed and Goff was on the Colts he would of got massacred. AR balled out penalties and dropped passes messed up his numbers

closer than the score indicated. Were you watching the game? Colts except for the first drive they did nothing. Second half all 3 and outs except for 1 turnover on downs, 50 yards rushing from backs, 170 yards in the air. If they did something good, it came back because of a penalty.
