I am still researching treadmills and unfortunately my wife is over the capacity. I stumbled upon a Spirit Fitness XT 485 which is within my price range and the user weight capacity. I do prefer the Nordictrack or Proform because of the IFit smart control, which is probably something only I would use so not a necessity. Thank you

We don't have that specific review created but if we could pick between the two we would pick the ProForm Pro 2000. It gives you a little bit bigger console and a little more cushioning than the EXP 7i.

Well I had been torn between the 1750 or the PF5000. The price difference was like $200 since it was on sale for 1599. Now... NT just refreshed the 1750 for 2022 on there website. With that... Is the $500 difference worth it? The new 1750 has a 14" pivot/swivel screen but the motor is now a 3.5 motor. Lastly... Outside of ifit and the custom workouts... If I don't have the machine connected to wifi and just want to get on it and run, will it operate? Is it the same between both brands? TYIA 😉

We've found the Nordictrack and ProForm treadmills don't operate as well if you aren't connected to wifi. If your treadmill can sense there is a signal, it will pause and buffer trying to connect with the signal - even if you aren't using iFit. Additionally, the free programs are not preloaded, everything is streamed, so without an internet connection, you cannot access much of the free content either - you're pretty much relegated to manual mode. If you want a treadmill that doesn't require wifi to operate, maybe look at the Sole treadmills. You can use them without an internet connection and they operate just fine.

I noticed that the 2000 has update in 2021. Could you please tell me if the 5000 does have update as well? Also watch is the difference between Proform 5000 and Proform smart 5000? Merci 🙏

The Pro 5000 is no longer available on ProForm's website. If you have access to the Pro 5000 we'd highly recommend that one. ProForm changed the model on the Pro 2000 in 2021 so it now has a smaller footprint, lighter deck, and less cushioning - but a larger touchscreen. The Pro 5000 was sturdy, heavy, and solid. Since it's no longer available, we don't anticipate an upgrade in 2022

Yes! We are working on getting that video done. For a quick overview, I'd say Peloton indoor classes are much better. They have better music (it's integrated into the format) and feel like a professional cycling class. However, iFit has better outdoor rides - and a ton of them. They have gravel rides, trail rides, road rides and road races, all of which feature impressive video content. If you are a road cyclist looking for something to parallel an outdoor experience, you'll prefer iFit. For those who like indoor classes with a lot of interaction with the instructor and top-notch music, Peloton is better.

@@jasonavery1401 That makes sense. I answered based on cycling classes - but the treadmill workouts are roughly the same. Peloton offers indoor classes with great music and instructors, but iFit is much better for outdoor workouts. They have routes all over the world for walking, hiking, running, etc. As far as weight training classes, iFit has a wider database of options but Peloton may add more over time. iFit features a lot of weight training and BootCamp classes which are phenomenal as long as you have the necessary equipment. The 1750 is a great option.

How would you compare the 2022 model of the NT 1750 vs the ProForm 9000?

They're pretty comparable. The NT 1750 is more powerful, larger, and offers adjustable cushioning. In general, it's a heartier treadmill than the Pro 9000, but the 22" touchscreen on the 9000 is certainly a nice feature.
