Profs. Hershko & Ciechanover -- First Israeli Nobel Scientists

Technion Faculty of Medicine Profs. Avram Hershko and Aaron Ciechanover were the first Israelis to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Science.
Their research on the ubiquitin system for mediated protein degradation won the 2004 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
