What i get from this video is that Jim Corbett was a chad that was a saviour of India villages. And that Indians are always on the Forest menu.

3:32, basically, humans are really weak and slow, so it could start chasing them because deer are too damn fast. This has happened several times actually, with Porcupines being the worst offenders, maiming their predators so bad that multiple of them(including some in this video I think, haven't gotten too far into it) have resorted to preying on humans

While I'm not a fan of hunting, especially if you don't eat what you hunt/trophy hunting, Jim Corbett was still a legend, at the very least for these cases specifically. Also, leopards can get up to and over 90 kilograms in weight, with the largest reliably recorded wild leopard being 96.5 kg, though they're about half this size on average. Also also, we know how weak humans are without weapons compared to most animals except fir animals that are much smaller than humans, while pocipines have about 30,000 reasons you don't wanna mess with them naturally.

I live in Sundarban in West Bengal, India. Sundarban is the biggest mangrove forest in the world and also the home of world's second biggest species of tiger in terms of size and also the biggest population of tigers is in Sundarban. The name Royal Bengal Tiger comes from the name of my state called West Bengal. The Royal Bengal Tiger is the National animal of India and this species of tigers is profoundly known for being man-eaters. I know 7 people in my village who have been attacked by tigers and unfortunately 4 of them died and only 3 of them were lucky enough to escape.

3:33 The thing is they become man eaters once they get a sevre injury that affects their hunting. Humans are the last things they would eat but if they can't hunt anything else they'll resort to hunting humans. Porcupines are not easy to hunt, their quills are designed so that once it's stuck to you, if you pull out, the barbs on it will further tear out more tissue. Watch the videos of leopards hunting porcupines. It's very narly

so the thing is with the predators being forced to hunt us over their natural prey is for a few reasons predators generally are specialised in hunting a specific kind and size of prey so they naturally want to stick to their natural prey sources, humans are not a natural prey source to many animals because the animals evolved alongside the prey in that area, and humans didnt really show up til after that circle was formed predators, especially solitary predators, generally dont like to hunt animals that are a part of a big group, making human civilizations scary for them, so they will often just avoid human civilizations as best they can humans aren't particuarly nutrient rich compared to many other animals the predators could hunt, and also have less meat on us than other animals the predator could bring down without the threat of going into a human civilization and last and definitely not least, most animals on the planet have learned pretty damn quickly to fear the hell out of humans, almost every animal who kills a human will eventually get killed by humans in revenge, as you saw in this video, BUT as you also saw in this video, most humans just out and about in a village, especially at night when the village is sleeping, is very easy prey, so easy that they can hunt us even when they have life threatening injuries that prevent them from hunting even their easiest of natural prey, we are just slow, not especially strong, and very fragile

@@Proftrof Funny thing is you're not supposed to have tigers unless you're running some type of sanctuary or a zoo. But like a lot of things here; give them an inch and they take several miles, people take that to mean they can have it as a pet as long as either no one finds out or they vaguely claim they run a sanctuary. Couple of years ago a guy in Houston went to jail for something, and his neighbors found out he had a tiger when it got hungry and started wandering the neighborhood. Thankfully it was sedated and sent to a proper sanctuary to be cared for.

Texas alone has a similar number of Tigers as India. Most are pets but many have escaped and are wild. The only data known about wild Texan Tigers is that there are "less than 3,000".

Humans make wasier prey for these big cats because we are alot slower and weaker than their natural prey we are also easier to find, only guns make us dangerous to them.
@sebastianleung28972 ай бұрын
Also here's the thing about the 1940s: Do you REALLY think people have guns just cause it's the 20th century and it's WW2? Buddy most people don't have guns just cuz there's a war. Guns during that time aren't cheap you know. Also they need a liscense, surely you're not thinking everyone's gonna buy a gun or have a gun liscense espicially in rural India? Do you think the government is gonna hand out guns either?
