Great video Cody. Some great albums featured. You have great presentation skills but you know that! Delivered in an entertaining manner. I caught you with Scot @theprogcorner on Sunday so a new sub to your channel. All the best. Dave from the Album Review Channel ✅✅

A little DTcentric there Cody. There’s been a few splinters in progland. What about Peter Hammill’s incredible solo career? Out of the Roxy Music camp we have the solo careers of both Brian Eno and Bryan Ferry. Fish! His solo career has been a little erratic but he still produced at least a couple of great albums. Then we have Ian Anderson, despite what RokFlote says I still consider it more of an Ian album. It’s a good one at that. And say what you will about Roger Waters but I’ve always liked his solo stuff. Dark Side Redux? Um..er..ugh. Another from the Genesis camp is Anthony Phillips. He’s got a lot of very enjoyable albums in his catalogue. David Cousins from the Strawbs also made an excellent solo album in 1972. How about Adrian Belew’s solo career? Again a lot of great albums that genre hop all over the place. Anyways, there’s a few more that I thought should get a little love.

This is exactly why I did the list 😃 some of this stuff I’m not familiar with, so I wanted to see what the viewers would come up with to compliment what I already put out there! Great list!!

@@BrockwaysVinylBytes Well in that case definitely check out David Cousins Two Weeks Last Summer. Also, some of Anthony Phillips more “commercial” ventures like Wise After the Event or Sides are good places to start. Ian Anderson’s album Secret Life of Birds is excellent as well.
