Lincoln Riley is maturing as a coach. Last year was embarrassing for all the Trojans. He learned, adjusted, and made the hard choice; now, everyone's confidence is high. It should be interesting. ✌️

Can't wait to get started in the B1G!! I've been a USC Trojans Fanatic since the '77 season when I had just entered Jr High School. So many great traditions throughout the B1G especially the Trophy games! When SC and Purdue play, I submit it's called the Apollo Bowl in honor of Purdue Alum Neil Armstrong who earned his MS from USC with a copy of the LM Eagle as the trophy... Excited for my first trip to Kinnick and the Big House!! Fight On!! Dallas

That is an interesting fact about Neil, I did not know that. The Big Ten is a fun conference, it'll get teams from the Pac more into the limelight as their games aren't late as all hell. If you ever travel to Lincoln for a game let me know! Ill get you hooked up out there with some pre and postgame festivities

Lifetime SC Fan here. Just speaking personally, I’m really excited for USC joining the BIG10. I think it’s great for college football, and certainly for our fans. We will begin to play in environments and historic venues with amazing, passionate fan bases. I’m not a predictor and I can’t tell you how good we will be. What I can say is that we will bring a strong offense, and that emphasis is being placed on having larger human beings on both the offensive and defensive lines. Other huge changes at USC is that the defensive coaching staff has been completely replaced except for Shawn Nua. The emphasis on that side of the ball will be much improved in terms of player development and a simplified scheme. In other words, our defense will be much improved this year because the quality of coaching will have a substantial impact on the quality of play. Looking forward to enjoying some great games, and let’s see how it all works out in 2024!

Tbh I think the timing of the defensive improvement will show, especially if yall try and get behind the run game, run the clock and keep the defense off of the field and fresh. I think USC will be top 5 in the conference with even an average defense, especially not having to playy outside of California on the back half of their schedule

Wouldn't surprise me to see SC do well in the BIg 10 this year. They addressed the defense...finally and the schedule is manageable. Moss will surprise many...

​@Bigtenshow 5 or 6??? Michigan will not be as good after losing a significant amount of players + Coach Harbaugh, Penn st is average, outside of ohio st. & oregon, USC will have a great chance to win the conference this year and get a spot in the playoff.

Ya'll I can't lie.... It's so wierd to see USC as a B1G school. It's dope that we are here but still kinda sad that the PAC 12 is no more. I think its really starting to hit me.

It is a little bit of a transition just because the game is changing so much, and nostalgia does that to us. But I think in time we will learn to love this new conference even more for the excitement, the 2 styles coming together, TV deals and new fanbase interactions it brings .

I think it is just one of those cases of the Big Ten being a prideful conference, but also gatekeeping to an extent. I for one am excited, I live in AZ now so these west coast games will make it much easier for me to get out there and watch!

I am a Nebraska fan, I know to not underestimate anyone at this point! lol Full Transparency I have USC at 5 on my most recent Power Rankings. But I think their ceiling is through the roof if that defense can improve and Miller Moss is as good as advertised. Those are the only hesitations, just seeing the new changes take place.

USC is 75-30-3 all-time against current opponents from the Big Ten Conference, and leads its series with 11 out of the 12 opponents it has faced. USC is 11-2 against Illinois and 7-3 against Iowa. The Trojans are 6-4 against Michigan, 6-1 versus Wisconsin and 5-0 against Northwestern

USC has no issues with the BiG when we are even decent! Look up the bowl records. I grew up on the hill from the rose bowl, watched regular beat downs from USC against the big. And yes, your fans were very passionate when USC beat Pen St in 2016 Rose bowl. And even more passionate when USC played OSU at home in 2008 and in the shoe in 2010. We did okay didn’t we?

I cannot wait until the next USC v OSU game and I'll be shocked if the Coliseum is not sold out for every conference home game this year. PSU, Wisky,---if not with USC fans their fans will buy them up.

They avoid the 2 best teams in the conference (Ohio State and Oregon) - They have LSU and Notre Dame in Non-con, they get LSU at a neutral site, Notre Dame at home AND Penn State at home, which are their toughest games... AND those games are spread out across the schedule with some easier games in between, then in terms of travel, you dont have to worry about any cold weather on the back half of the schedule. Michigan and Washington are shells of what they were.. So what is so difficult about it?

USC from 1980 to 2001 had ONE ten win season. Had they not got lucky with Pete Carrol, after their top 3 HC choices turned them down, they would still have fewer than five 10win seasons, and zero national title appearances from 1980 to 2023. In fact, almost my entire life, usc has been average…and I’m 43yrs old. And UCLA was the better team for most of my youth. Oregon has a 13-7 record vs usc since they started investing in CFB. Isn’t it amazing, when recruiting stops being regional, and a team that never invested, started invested, and they start out recruiting usc, and embarrassing them on the field. Isn’t that amazing…? It’s almost like usc was good because the deck was stacked in their favor before the internet even existed….when recruiting was regional, and they had more recourses to keep them on top.
