Hello friend, I have put a Chinese android radio ISUDAR that includes its own canbox. But this does not show me the parameters of AC, open doors, fuel, revolutions and others. If I configure those parameters, will it appear on the Android screen? Thank you

David.B i honestly couldnt tell you. I think it wouldn’t but you would have to just try and see if it works.

ok. i have bought a new gateway to my golf mk7 and i would like to replace the old one. how do i do it? is it some thing i have to back up from the old one and then install the new one and code it ?? or i just replace it direkt and code the new one ?

You have to take a snap shot of your original CANBUS options under installation list just like you see in the video or write them down. Once you recorded those options before hand than when you add the new one you have to re-enable those same features on your new CANBUS by checking off that list. Careful of enabling features on your new gateway that were not in your old gateway it will create new error messages or confused the new CANBUS to the point where you can't communicate with it anymore. There is a whole write up on this with older MK5/MK6 platforms but it's basically the same.

If your old CANbus has the 1,3,5,6,7,8,14 (just an example), then on your new CANbus you will need to tick the 1,3,5,6,7,8,14.
