Prefect! No wonder my lift master wasn't opening before. Oddly, I was able to program it for another garage door by simply pressing the learn button on the garage door motor, then pressing and holding one of the buttons on the remote until it opened. That worked on some noisy garage door opener, but not on the lift master. This method worked for programming the lift master. Thank you so much! 👍🏾👍🏾

So I have a double garage. One has a Liftmaster opener and the other has a Chamberlain opener. The Chamberlain worked with this procedure, the Liftmaster worked using the steps in the manual that came with the opener. This remote now opens both of my garage doors.

FYI if you ever have trouble with any opener not working get rid of LED’s they affect them. In fact if someone leaves my light on in garage I can’t close door when leaving or open when I get home.

Apparently when you are in KZbin jail you can't upload new videos but you can post videos that were already uploaded but never made public. I made this one a few months ago. Maybe next week we can get some new videos.

@@TheStruggleville KZbin is really stupid and inconsistent about their own policies. I have seen quite a few content creators complain and the sad thing is that they just don't care. We need to get some competition for them. If they start losing revenue because of this issue they will magically all of a sudden take notice and fix the problem.

Hey there.. how are you. I followed exactly what you said and my craftsman 1/2 does not react at all to this instructions. I already tried for hours. I know is two clicks for sears Craftsman.. this is from 1998.. nothing happens.. pretty frustrated. It's like if the opener doesn't respond to the remote. Any help? Thank you

Wonderful video but now kind of an additional problem. So finally got the remote to close the garage but then, it would not close down flush; it fakes out like it's closing and then goes up like a quarter of a fold/panel?! Tried it today and put of the blue, it closed like normal BUT when I pressed it again hoping it would open, same thing happened....???

If you do everything and the door opens up and you push again to close, it does not close and the light flashes and it clicks but will not close

My guess is your laser sensors aren't lined up right. Mine are mounted near the opener just aimed right at each other instead of on opposite sides of the door.

Do not hold the opener button - It clears the memory of it and your remotes programmed in will not work.
