I've been off the air for 40 or so years, I bought the FT-400 which works nicely, but the Fussion c4fm is all new to me.

Sound like you got off the air about the time I got licensed (1980), LOL. Buzz, you got a very good radio, i know, i got two of them. Do you have a Fusion repeater near you? If have questions Buzz, I’m here for you.

@@thefusionelmerguy2234 I went kinda crazy when I started up again, I started with a FT1200, and the FT400. Then the Icom 230, ft 891 w/fc50 tuner, then the Alinco 638, and Icom 718. I needed an antenna so I bought a 50ft free-standing tower and a 30 ft, lol. Antennas for most part are home-made, but, a btv4 and a comet 250. ... lol

Wow, at least you’ve been down that road before and know better now what you need to do “the second chance”. I didn’t see the ft-991A on that list, you might want to look at that, it is a whole ham-shack in a box and does C4FM on 6 & 10 meters as well as the other VHF and UHF bands. C4FM is a kick on 6 and 10 when the bands are open. What is your call so i know what part of the world you are in? Ken KA6SUB
