On a vertical machine, set the center line of your tool at the top of the part, this will be the Z offset. Then program the X,Y,Z accordingly relative to your fixture offset. For detailed information, see the Article at the eapprentice web site, scroll down to "90 degree head"

Check you retract plane in the operation parameters for the problem with not retracting from the hole. You say the post doesn't work on a Haas. What doesn't work? If there is an alarm when you send the program to the Haas controller, you need to diagnose the problem. There may be some specific G or M code that the machine doesn't like

how to offset a tool in machine? and offset x,y,z in post, pls helpppp

i'm use this post and machine defention ,but when post drill out side machine run not right, when x- in .05 buy x not come out befor next hole, it stay in -.05 and move to next hole..., it wrong, how can i'm set post or modifi post... pls help thanks
