Tires made of Chinesium... sure, it'll be fine. Bought parts and came home with the wrong thing, eh? Nice to know I'm not the only one who does that. You are getting to be a pro at changing wheel studs. Overall, great job. Duke is looking better and better.

I ran Chinese tires. They are perfect for what you are doing they just wear out quicker than a good one. I also had a friend who went into landfills all the time he ran nothing but Chinese tires he said he would rather have something run through a sidewall of a 200 dollar tire instead of a 1000 dollar tire.

Hey Mike the Duke is my favourite in your Fleet I just love Bonnett trucks,oh and just a hopefully handy tip when I was replacing wheel studs I would use a piece of heavy wall pipe as a sleeve if you use a nut it can catch the stud thread and damage it ,if you have a lathe you can turn up a sleeve and put it in you tool box for next time.Thank you for your channel I love it I don't have the room to do a resto so I'm doing it with you Mate. Cheers Kym Adelaide

With the new shiny rear rims, you definitely need to get those fuel tanks polished. They really stand out like a sore thumb. The grill surround isn't quite as obvious. You might be able to get away without polishing that.

I had to do 40 rear and 18 front on a truck in 2 hours before it's a job. Use a light oil between the washer and the nut also on the threads. Never use never seize on hub pilots or stud pilot wheels when installing wheels. The graphite and other metals cause damage to the threads and will slow wheels to loosen even when torqued.

For what you're gonna do with that 388 Peter bell, those tires from China are gonna be fine. And as for the steel wheels behind the aluminum wheels won't be running it in the winter lots so there won't be a lot of corrosion. You really brought that old truck back.

Hi Mike, great video you always make me laugh with the things you do and say, you should have applied some anti seize paste (copper slip as we call it in the UK) between the mating faces of your steel wheels and alloy wheels you'll be moaning when you cannot split them apart. Battery impact gun, as you have shop air why don't you buy a air impact gun, using a crowbar to get wheels off, why not buy a hydraulic wheel skate or a wheel dolly, jack the road wheel up, slide the skate underneath the tyre jack the skate up till it takes the weight of the wheel and pull the skate towards you. Trailer air line support - what about a nice shinny pogo stick. Keep up the good work matey Paul from the UK.

Unless I’m misunderstanding the operation of the slide cylinder it should still work. When the 5th wheel slide toggle is in the lock position, there’s no air supplied to the cylinder, and when you move the toggle to unlock position, it should supple air to the cylinder and pull the dogs in.
