My old man had one of these new, Bahama Beige I believe. 4.1, 4 speed manual and got the S pac stripes deleted. In 1986 I borrowed it to go from Newcastle to Tamworth one morning. I had to be there at 9.00am in the morning, sadly I slept in and didn't getaway until 6.15am, so I punted the big girl as fast as I dared. I remember how well it handled our less than smooth New England Hwy. The big wide Falcon, coils all round and watts linkage made for a great Aussie road car, soaking up those rough bends. I got there on time and averaged around 101kph for the trip and saw my first Highway car rolling out of Tamworth as I was rolling in. Newcastle to Tamworth in 2 & 3/4 hours, no BS, do the maths. Sadly my old man is now gone and the Falcon, long gone. I'm 61 years old now myself and would love the Falcon or the HZ Holden panel van, 202, 4 speed, he owned from new and traded in for the Falcon.

Great 👍 work Thomas. Yeah I've got an October 30 AU ll Ford Falcon SR sedan - Narooma Blue - T-Bar Automatic leather with Chrome button $95 + Leather steering wheel. Both out of a Fairmont Ghia. Looking forward to seeing your car completed enjoy mate. As mine is a project to bring it to factory too with a couple of extras from Fairmont Ghia such as the T-Bar and Steering wheel. From William Mount Gambier South Australia 🇦🇺 Subscribed 1st time today. Later on I might save for an XF Falcon GL - Automatic Column shift - Bench seat - old as me if been built in 1987. I only have 2 car's as I'm on a disability pension but that's Ok though I'm happy with what I'm doing. 2nd car I have is believe it or not. 1984 - SD23 - Nissan Urvan Diesel-camper van - 5-speed manual Column shift. Nissan White 805P. It is currently - Antique White.
