Progress spacecraft docks with the ISS - Cupola view - KSP RSS/RO

As I wasn't directly controlling the Progress during docking, I sadly couldn't have the docking probe to extend and then to retract it for hard docking... Would've been nice ^^

Great job! 👍A bit of history. The first Progress 1 cargo ship was launched to the Salyut 6 orbital station on January 20, 1978 and was automatically docked with the station on January 22.

Absolutely beautiful. How did you fix the habtech2 Ivas? for me they are way too small.

Thank you ! It's been a long time, but there was a patch I made somewhere, most likely, for RSS/RO. Also the cupola I use and its IVA is from lonesome robots station parts.

Это всё очень грустно. Отечественная космонавтика превратилась в череду обещаний и неоправданных долгостроев. Экономика по сути не выдерживает нагрузки, либо коррупция, неправильный менеджмент и отсутствие приоритета государства на космонавтику сделали своё дело. За космосом стоит наше будущее, и мы сейчас его стремительно теряем. Будем надеяться на лучшее. Как говорил озон, придётся потерпеть.

How did you get the flags and the text?

It's just custom flags made in photoshop, exported as png, put in flag folder in gamedata, and then I used them with comformal decals mod. : )

Hey ! Thank you < 3 Yeah I use PRVE for RSS, and its optional component PRVE 64K (64K earth text and cloud shadows). Quite a goblin RAM eater tho ^^

@@AlexandrFox-s7s IIRC when in low Earth orbit with the ISS (~400 parts), it's well above 20GB. But we all know KSP's relationship with RAM ^^

@@techstepman thx ! I used Mechjeb docking autopilot when controlling the Progress, then switched to the ISS craft, the autopilot keeps going ; )

@techstepman haha, cool ! Yeah, the only limit to this is that the 2 (or multiple) crafts need to be within physics range (~2.2 km) of each other. It works with KOS too afaik. Cheers

I have about 20 to 25 fps when looking down at the Earth. I have a laptop, but quite chunky : Nvidia 3060, i7-12700H 12th gen, 32 Gb of ram. This mod is eating RAM like a child eating cornflakes on breakfast, since it has 64K Earth text, 64K clouds, and cloud shadows...
