A black hole doesn't "suck" or pull anything in... It warps and distorts space-time to such an extent due to the gravity well it creates that matter falls into it. The warping is so significant that light traveling in the vacuum of space isn't fast enough, hence why it's "black".

James p hogan wrote a book many decades ago. “ thrice upon a time.” The book talked about creating tiny black holes how they accumulate to eventually become the end of the world. A human can eat an elephant over time. But not on one sitting.

I lived in Northern Minnesota in a town called International Falls. It's small you were looking for cities but it's just a town of 5000. Anyway it's colder than Duluth, it's absurd. I think the all-time low for International Falls is -55F. I have been outside in -30 and colder. If you aren't completely covered up you leave yourself open to frostbite. We had snow on the opening day of fishing season which is June 1st one year. We had snow flurries for the 4th of July some year, they scrubbed the internet of that because ya know "global warming". You'd have to talk to locals to get that story. Rainy Lake had ice on it still come the end of May one year. There's photos of people sunbathing on icebergs.

@ I use Brave Browser (yes it has its problems, mostly the crypto shit) to watch youtube. It removes all ads automatically, except for sponsor read in the videos themselves of course. Also you can set it on your phone so it doesn't stop playing when you leave the window. perfect for sleep

Someone, someday might say of Earth, "I wonder if this planet was ever inhabited by an intelligent, civilised species?" And I would say, "No. Not while there is such a thing as religion." Religion is the biggest block to the advancement of knowledge that man could ever create. And yes, religion is the creation of man. How could you ever expect to hold any meaningful conversations with an advanced people who are millenia ahead of us, both technologically and scientifically? You'd have to arrange any meetings around our 'so-called' (Sabbath days) etc. Or, we can't hold meetings with these 'aliens' because 'Santa Clause is comin' to town'.
