Great to know another warbirds going to beat the scrappers. When we lived in lae n nadzab l personally saw about half a dozen assorted wrecks collected from farms, n the bush headed down Markham Rd to the scrap yard. I remember the story of the complete zero pulled out of the river n saw its photos n then visited it being prepared for offshore travel. Different times back then!

Is there an official difference between a restoration and a exact replica?, where is the line drawn, does one actually exist?. Thanks.

Is it really restoring them if there is very little of the original left when it’s finished? Surely that just building a new plane.

Like what you're doing, I am doing the same type of thing as tractors, but not on a big scale.

Really interesting stuff, would love to be involved. Unfortunately your background music is a bit loud making the commentary hard to hear. Is this fixable please?

The one dude is kinda a baby. Totally understand folk not liking the wilds but then one questions why one would go after such a career? It’s like this, if one is afraid of heights, maybe claustrophobic, then I would suspect the odds of such person becoming a pilot are slim at best. So if ya don’t like the jungle, and ya don’t like the “crawlies” then maybe don’t become someone who hunts down lost things in the jungle. Or if ya decide to face your fears then first, good on you, it’s how we grow, but second, don’t be such a punk about it.
