I was really fortunate to discover it right at its peak around 2005-2006 or so. That was also when disco house productions were on fire as well. A great time for electronica heads.

This type of music is like progressive house (a form of trance), but with syncopated breakbeats. Progressive Breaks is my new favorite type of EDM style.

I agree pal , i love edm prog house , never really been a trance fan ,but i simply love the mellowed outness of prog house , but breakbeat is the king of them all , underground music always has the most talent & soul touching tracks. Sadly you have to dig through a load of shit to find a gem as anyone can make edm on their laptop these days , but when you find them it is worth it. "Shocks" original mix - by Reii - still brings me to tears today , the first time i heard that track i nearly died , i would love to hear that for the first time again. Listen to edm on a quality headphone with a good frequency response , open speakers don't do the music genre justice for home listening , unless you have proper sound system that can produce the frequencies. TIP - Remember it's not just about the bass , use a quality headphone , not a shitty beats by dre !!!!! Any got carried away in my reply , God Bless

Very good genre for people who grew up with music like dj baby anne and dj icey, but who also grew up on trance. Perfect. You can really hear the bass line of breaks with euphoric sounds of trance

This was the best trip I've had down memory lane in my lifetime. Honest! The tracks in this set are tell tale of my time in the Middle East and the flavor of music I had at hand there. I wish I could single out one track from this set but man, is the entire set good! Keep up with the amazing set's, tracks and productions. The only people I've had to listen to and to provide a breakbeat dose of music, when growing up, was BT or Hybrid. Today there are some awesome musicians who remind me more and more of those days where hearing a track of this kind on the radio was bliss to the ears. Presenting tingling sensations down your spine and offering a rush of blood to the head. Glad to see that much of that talent is residing under Silk's banner. This 2 hour set is something I'll hold very close to my heart, Silk! + You're welcome but I need to say THANK YOU again to you lovely folks. So THANK YOU! :)
