The information written on that dry erase board is accurate and a great Motor Oil 101 ! The rule with oil changes is always change no later than 6000 miles. 3000 miles if you want the engine to have a very long life. Also, always use a superior full synthetic motor oil and a high quality, high capacity oil filter.

Yes, the W stands for winter, meaning the viscosity of a multigrade oil tested at 0° Fahrenheit. The lower the number, the more easily the oil flows when cold.

Hah! Test your oil for $200 and then drop the $50 for oil change. No BRAIN-er. Do it at home! Just change it. Your car is worth it

The test is typically $30, not $200. And it's usually done with the old oil from an oil change you were doing anyway, not to see if you need an oil change. A test can tell you if something is going wrong in your engine, like excess metal from a worn out bearing. A lot of fleets do them as part of maintenance.

Nothing "green" about them... from production to charging stations ran on diesel fuel...even the elements needed to produce said batteries is anything BUT "green".... what about them are?
