use the dough cycle in the bread machine, punch it down and put it in your loaf pans, cover and rise 30 minutes and then bake 30 minutes at 350F. works a charm. or divide and make buns.

Thankfully, the Superstore I go to does still have Old Mill bread - I prefer it over some other brands. And last week, Sobeys had the 3 packs of peppers buy 1/get 1 free, so that was a decent deal at least. I work in a grocery store - you're right, the prices have certainly been on the rise! And going in for a few things and leaving with a full cart, is a very common occurrence! 😊 As a cashier I hear about it all the time. And I do it, too - I've posted a couple of hauls myself just this week.

Lol!! I’m so glad to hear I’m not alone! Those sounds like some great deals! I do sometimes wish we had more stores to get some better prices at but it’s also nice to just simplify things and go to one!

@LifeinYellowknife yeah, we're in a bigger city here so there are definitely options, but that's not always a good thing - sometimes too many choices is just too much. I try and stick to two stores for the most part: Sobeys where I work, and Superstore. Obviously shopping at my work is convenient, plus I go to those 2 stores for the points programs. I don't want to be going to 5 or 6 different places...occasionally I'll go somewhere else but only if it's such a good sale no one else can come close to it.

Food prices are literally insane so it's fantastic to find bargains. Do you guys have a no frills or freshco or any of those discount places? Giant tiger lol? So good if you know how to grow your own or make your own, but who knows how to do any of that stuff?? You look fantastic :) What month are you due in?

I know they are! We have no other stores other than a small selection at Walmart of pantry goods (and I avoid it now without my hubby because I’ve been followed to my car too many times by homeless people it’s been very scary) and also coop which is often more expensive! We also have a few specialty stores I think but I’ve never been and I doubt they’d be cheaper! It’s wild! I’m currently working on a series where I try to copy people’s American extreme grocery hauls to see what it costs up here and it’s nuts the difference!! Aww that’s really sweet to say thank you! I don’t feel like I look fantastic lol!!! I’m due in mid July! Still a bit to go but I feel great so that’s good! Haha! Who are you anyway with that profile pic? Haha kidding kidding
