Hello Edmund! I really love seeing the close bond you have with your Mom ... that is a very special thing! 🥰 And the spicy noodle cucumber dish your Mom made sounds delicious ... Mmmm! While we visited London we booked in our first official afternoon tea at The Portrait Museum and then enjoyed taking a stroll through the museum after to look at all the beautiful art. Your videos bring back such fond memories of our trip (we stayed in a flat in Kensington and loved that area so much). Wishing you a Happy New Year 2025!

Hello, Vonda?:) I can also feel great exuberance and love in the air from your profile picture🥰 I recall you had a Sunday roast at the Bridge House in September 2018 (hope the weather was not wet then!) My mummy feels flattered with your compliment and afternoon tea at the Portrait Museum sounds fabulous. As Korean, we believe a cuppa tea at 3-4 pm is all about strengthening bond between families or friends🥰🥹 Delighted to hear my vlog could serve as a reminiscence to your fond memories in London (blimey, stay in Kensington cannot be detested😉) Happy New Year to you and your family from London🫶🏻

@Edmund30s Oh you are too kind, thank you for that nice compliment! You tell your Mom she has raised such a wonderful man ... even though I don't know you personally, your kindness, warmth and honest nature shines through your videos so much. ☺ Yes, you have a good memory. When we planned our trip we really tried to fill our itinerary with quite a few memorable things to do (Sunday Roast, Afternoon Tea, Greenwich Prime Meridian Line, Bletchley Park, Stonehenge, Wicked at Victoria Theater, etc) ... I think we fulfilled that and more and now have so many great memories from that trip. Oh yes the weather was wonderful .. we visited in September and only had one little sprinkle of rain .. I didn't even get to wear my rain jacket I bought especially for the trip (haha)! We really enjoyed staying in Kensington ... we rented a vacation flat on Dukes Lane ... perfect location to so much in that area .. we always felt safe and the tube, buses and shopping, etc were so close by .. we loved that area! Anyhow, I'm sorry I could seriously ramble on but you live there so you already know how wonderful it all is .. haha .. it is fun talking about it all though! Thanks again for a great youtube channel .. so glad I came across it and now get to enjoy watching your videos. Take Care! ☺

Hi Eddie! Another wonderful walk around London, with you, sharing your observations and thoughts! My heart goes out to you, for the emotional pain of your 20's (there are lots of people who would identify with that experience)...we don't really know who we are then, and navigating the world, without an emotional/psychological compass, is always problematic! Eddie! YOU ARE ENOUGH, AS YOU ARE! Please do not be preoccupied by the ideal of Masculinity! There are too many examples of Toxic Masculinity in our world, with traumatic consequences. Your sensitivity, and philosophical wisdom; 'our efforts never betray us', is what we NEED MORE OF! You have a pure soul-and there is such poetry in your words; "The sky is sharing tears and complaints with us!" and, "caressed by the sun!" YOU are your best asset-don't let anyone steal your shine! Love Sue xxx 🌟

…hi from Vancouver, BC, Canada. It’s expensive here too, but there are plenty of free nearby outdoor activities to do by oneself that do not involve spending money. Btw, you are not weird; there are more people who feel shy and introverted just like you. It takes real confidence to enjoy your own company than to pretend to enjoy the company of others just to “fit in”.

Please consider some friendly advice; however you feel about spending so much time alone might feel ok to you now, but you might feel very differently one day looking back. My regrets about spending my 20s socially isolated came all at once and despite finding a partner who I love it's been a daily mental health struggle ever since. Regret is arguably the most painful emotion of all and being alone is not a long term option if one wishes to have good mental health. Consider breaking the routine and putting yourself out there. There IS someone for everyone.
@Edmund30s3 күн бұрын

Chill has just come down my spine, alas, came up again…🤣 I broadly agree with you and your saying “there is someone for everyone” has hit me very hard - wonderful advice and I don’t take you sharing your lessons for granted. I am sure wise words are always appreciated across culture and ages. Thanks again🫶🏻

I love your calming videos! I just liked and subscribed. It’s so interesting to know so many people of different backgrounds, ethnicities and cultures can suffer from the very same issues. I still suffer from self esteem issues. I’m very extroverted and, many times others don’t like you for that reason, too. You can’t please all people so, be your best self. I think you are doing that very well

From the USA here I think you are doing just fine. I was in London Dev 16 2024 to about Dec 23 2024. I ended up getting sick for three days. London can be intense if you are not up for it. But in all certainty I think you are fine and you get along with people just fine. You might find classical music to be a good thing. You can try "Alexa play WCRB" and listen to a good classical station in Boston MA USA. I really wanted a REAL London experience as a person like yourself would live. So what I did not find in my journey to London I find in your videos just a good normal life and not as a tourist. I did spend 3 good days in Marylebone which were great. I got sick at Bills Bar near victoria Station I think and I stayed in a hotel near Victoria Station sick until my departure three days later. Still I did make it to London. The really busy places like Bond Street, Oxford Street, all the tourist places and shopping places are simply too busy for me. Getting OFF of the main High streets and into the more normal quieter streets is what I did enjoy. Marylebone had some of that.
@Edmund30s13 күн бұрын
Thanks for your revisit to my channel:) I am terribly sorry to hear you were rather off-colour during three days in London at the end of 2024:( I hope you recovered now back home🫶 Thanks for recommending a good classic and I am now more curious about Boston! London can be, indeed, fairly intense place when one is packed with the crowd😢 But it is relieving that you could find calm places in Marylebone. Genuinely humbled to hear my vlog can bring you vibe of real London experience as a normal guy living🙈 Hope my vlogs can bring you charming but candid sensation of London to you onwards

Hello again:) Sure with a great pleasure Korean Perilla Kimchi ingredients needed: Perilla leaves 3 tbs fish sauce ¼ cup of onion 4 cloves of garlic 2 stalks of green onion (optional) 1 ts honey 1-2 tbs Korean hot pepper flakes (gochugaru) roasted toasted sesame seeds (optional; though it can enhance flavour and scent) carrot (2-3 tbs; optional) Perilla Kimchi is very common and popular side dish at most of Korean household and I faithfully fancy it! For your reference, I add the link for easy recipe to follow: www.maangchi.com/recipe/kkaennip-kimchi. If you cannot find this dish at Korean household, you should doubt if you are actually in Korea:) Korean Bibim Guksu (noodle) ingredients recipe link: www.maangchi.com/recipe/bibim-guksu It is sweet/sour spicy noodle we usually have as snack in between lunch and supper (if supper gets rather late like at 8-10 pm). The recipe varies and topping can be replaced with other vegetables or you can have it with pork/beef (like wrap beef with noodle).
