Well, I was an Insta-locker when I was a starter. I only used to play with Jett. But now after mastering some other agents, I am not Insta-locking anymore. By the way, when I am matched with players equal or less than my ranks, I become a hyper aggressive player and get first 2 kills then die with some intels. When I am matched with players higher in rank than me, my confidence goes down and you know I become the low confidence player, get low elo rating. However, a teammate from the party with whom I'm familiar helps to do good in high ranked matches. I am not a sprayer in all situations. I pay attention to my mini-map and heed to my team-mates. I am not an over-hyped player as I get over-hyped from my team-mates in some matchmaking. And that's all. Thanks for this video, Renox!

Even in higher elo there is. Some people can instalock duelist at every rank because they are easy to play. I’m currently in Diamond 3 and if I hover over Jett for 2 seconds before locking her in someone does. Hopefully as a Jett main I learned other heroes but it’s still annoying imo haha

I've developed the hyper aggressive style, because in lower ranks it's hard to get people to push. So I push in often, and then try to get them to follow. This style helps you get more practice with gun fights, but eventually I had to be more patient against better players.

8:23 you know what can help with that? ALLOWING US TO SEE PROFILES FOR EVERYONE NOT JUST FRIENDS. Sorry, I'm a bit heated about this, but it would be so much easier to see other profiles on either the actual client or at least a 3rd party app like face check. In league you can look up other players profiles easily and see what their picks are worst-case scenario if you need to dodge, not valorant though. This game is amazing but this is the main issue I have with it. Also, QOTD I am very low confidence and will occasionally spray and pray with the stinger cause it shreds fools in less than a second.

I have been all of these players. I use to be the low-confident guy, them became the over-aggresive guy. When I started valorant, I use to spray and pray, but now I'm good. I always insta-lock agents but I'm not just a duelist. I can use a lot of agents including Jett, Cypher, Omen and Reyna

Spraying can be achieved at long distances, the barrel of the gun moves before the bullets, if you move your mouse on the opposite direction of the barrel, you can have a good spray at any range

I used to be an instalocker but now changed with 2 agents from each class so for example: our team has 1 agent from each class that I know how to play, if I were to only have 1 agent proficient in each class but those were picked, I would be doomed so when this happens, I pick my 2nd agent from the class that the team needs. Basically, I have backup agents if all of the agents I used are picked, so it's good to have backups

I am a low confidence player for sure.. I am always scared to make a mistake and disappoint my team. Or they start shouting at me saying "you can't do that and blah blah" That's how I lose even more confidence and I start wondering why am I even playing still.. I don't know what's this from video, but: In practice I test every agent and weapon. But in match I usually pick Jett. I use vandal, bulldog, spectre & stinger. I always try to be quiet and coordinating with team (even if they don't listen to me). I'm spraying while crouching and aiming down sights (or burst firing in long range). I'm not lucky half of the time, but other half I manage to survive or at least get 1-2 kills per round. I look at minimap and use ping and radio commands constantly (usually asking for help, where I'll go and where enemy possibly is) I'm only asking for healing if my health is at red mark (I do that even if there's no Sage and I don't really expect any result from it) And as Jett I usually just throw away my ult because I can't use it properly (and under throwing away I mean I shoot all my knives in the air)

A lack of watching my mini map is the only reason why I made killjoy my main since all her abilities show in their so it forces me to watch it so I can use that for info like when they destroy my swarm grenade or my bot is shooting people

I am mostly the instalocker, but picking Sova. He has high skill-ceilling, so I had to work with him a lot to be "good" and comfortable playing. But the best thing is it can help you with getting more concious of the maps. How they are built. Even sometimes knowing cetain lineup, when enemy sova is reconing can help you to predict where he was. :P

Hyper Aggressive Omen Instalocker (since i have really good aim and positioning usually, hence the confidence). I Choose Omen aka a Controller Character, due to his ability skillset literally pretty much meshing with every other characters ability layouts in there own unique ways given proper team synergy. Still though, If someone beats me to Omen, OR if im playing Ranked maches i still have backups 🤪. I also love him as a Character, and his Lore when pieced together through voice lines is pretty dope TBH. I just don't have a Mic RN TBH, sooo i'm forced to play Unranked matches and follow only basic chat and map communication, hence why RN i am a instalocker main even though i usually despise it in team based games.
