I know it's a jokey video, but still mixed on the whole "ratting" argument. I mean, if player uses camping as a crutch at expense of teamplay and role, then yeah; but if someone consistently "jumpscares" enemies through corner holding, that just sounds like good defensive positioning (either that, or enemies being bad as clearing corners)..

Just found out that I am "rat" type of player, cause I love to play with Odin. I thought that knowing every pen surface is some kind of skill. Or like clutching a round against 4 ppl running at u all at once cause I have 100 bullets is skill. But no... Forgive me, but ill keep doing it in ascedant lobbies easily winning the rounds, cause some "skillful" players cant handle a single gun lol

The fact that people hate on people that use efficient strategies of the game like holding corners or using lineups says a lot about how community is so one-sided, you have to play one certain way, buy specific only guns and play specific only agents, if this doesn't happen community goes to flame them Fun killers

Both line-ups and rat are just unfun to play against. So from the other point of view having that playstyle is fun killing. More importantly though they’re crutches and there’s no real skill expression or progression. Combined this means that it’s annoying for the enemies, while also limiting your own potential to improve.

I think im a mix between the vct analysis nerd and the natural born leader, because some matches people say my comms won us the match and how wonderful my comms are, but some matchen i just say "hes ct" once and the person screams in my ear to shut the f up because his trying to clutch, and then he holds main and get killed from behind, and then proceeds to mute me

You forgot 2 more types. 1) Those who are ignorant, get kills but don't share Intel with teammates and blame team for losing the round. 2) Complete opposite of VCT Analyst. They have good aim and everything but no game knowledge. They don't know where the team is, when the spike is planted, etc.

@•shy fxerie• I always give instalock cause I only know how to play with Sage, but I suppose that the problem is that when people are forming the teams in the competitive mode they have strategies for what agents fit better together in each map. I feel selfish instalocking, but I suck more than usual with other agents.

Playing like a rat and camping are two different things, although not mutually exclusive. A rat player will use lurk timings and corners to catch the enemy unaware. The camper will sit in the corner for the whole round.

But not really bragging, I do mostly solo queue and when I find a team who listen to me I helped them with all my advice I can and also by giving my best performance while being a Sova main. 1:24 Speaking Of Which: I was on Breeze partied with friends, and of course, I had played Viper. Made my own Lineups for different maps and their sites as well. To make the enemies guessing. Like six sided dice. But there was a brimstone playing as well...AND GOD DIDNT THEY MESS UP. Would've been better that they let a fire start in a house(They messed up their lineups). As a good person, I shrugged it off and didn't say anything. I just laughed my butt off. In the end, their Lineups were off even when they said where 2 plant && I picked up my lineup Larry card to get 2 free lineup kills. Good times...😁
