For those who are wondering his accent is originally from Birmingham, England. A 'Brummie' accent. But its been heavily influenced by his drink and drug habbit over years. You won't go to Birmingham and find everyone stuttering/slurring (unless you're down a pub). Love Ozzy, love Sabbath and Rollins is growing on me.
@alanalanalanalan14289 жыл бұрын
Can you understand it?
@winchuni229 жыл бұрын
Alan Yes. His accent is normal - its his delivery which is sometimes off. When he stutters you have to work a little harder to understand but when he's flowing its fine. He has a working class midlands accent. If you're not from the UK you'd be amazed by the variety of accents in the country - especially given the size. As a result from numerous people who have settled over the ages and the language has developed from that. In a way the 'modern' countries who speak English slightly differently are a continuation of how the English language has developed and continues to develop.

The Bottom line is that Ozzy Osbourne speaks from his heart in a genuine way. Considering the fact that his entertainment career reached the upper stratosphere after Sabbath after his solo work. The average person not knowing anything about him saw him on television as this zany caricature of himself. The fact is that he will always be that wild and crazy guy from the streets of Birmingham England who is totally original and truly loves his fans.
