We already have a legislated saying in Islam when our brother sneezes When he sneezes, he says alhamdulillah and whoever was around to hear should say yarhamak Allah which has a similar meaning to this English phrase

I've seen that you have to first do the missing fasts of Ramadan first then shawwal. So the priority is the missing fasts. Also the fast of shawwal is not compulsory while the missing fasts of Ramadan are compulsory.

That's haram because it's a celebration related to the kuffars. It's not allowed in Islam to celebrate your birthday. The prophet Muhammed never celebrated his birthday neither his companions. So don't encourage the kuffars to celebrate their festivals.

This idea of following the masses is not found in Islam and just to note birthdays are derived from the Ancient Greek practice of celebrating the god that they believed in birthday. So yes it does have religious connotations.
