I have a 86 Interceptor 500...you push that thing above 9 grand on the rpm's and she goes! Fun bike to own!

I used to have the 1986 model, red white n blue stock. It was a nice motorcycle!

Why why why? I was around as a young adult during this whole Honda V4 phase, and this bike was one of the worst ones. The VF1000R was iconic. 1990 VFR with the gear driven cams and single side swing arm was also iconic. Then of course Honda ruined the whole thing when they deleted the gear driven cams and added VTech. 1990 to 2000 were the golden years.

Ride one and find out.Little interceptor wanthe best of them all .Had one for almost a year,'89 I think.30 something years - and 25 bikes later,all sorts of them- that little 500,wirh GPZ 600 were the best bikes I have ridden. Bought 2 of them VFs last year,restoring them.Last bike for me,and the best of them all
