Project 1995 BMW E38 740i V8 with 6 speed manual gearbox

The project of 1995 BMW 740i with manual 6 gear transmission, old engine(M60B40) was damaged as you can see on photos, so I replaced it with the second one from 740iA with 120 000km mileage. During this conversion were also replaced brakes, steering, water pump, all bearings, hubs, fuel injectors, fuel pump, cruise control unit, seals etc + COMPLETE ELECTRICITY by Jamo..... at the end, I
instaled electric exhaust cut-outs, and it sounds gorgeous. In car was a LPG system instaled officialy, and it still is. It works perfect on gasoline and also on LPG too. Hope you like this project and video. Sorry for bad quality, but photos and videos were made with cell phone, quickly, randomly and with dirty oiled hands during work :D

Very nice! I'm contemplating a similar project. Did you have to swap out the ECU chip to a manual trans one so the engine would idle correctly? Did you have to do anything with the transmission mount?

If I were King of word , I would make a law , all cars must have a manual variant. so the people that like driving can enjoy themselves. and the auto guys can stay in urban traffic all they want.

I wish. It's a bit depressing that manual transmissions are becoming a rarity. At least here in the U.S.
