In Part 7 of Project 750Li, we diagnose a PCV issue and reassemble the rest of the car to get it ready for inspection. Once it's been inspected, we tackle a few issues on the interior like a bad amplifier and door lock.
The next video is going to be our last on Project 750Li so let me know in the comments what you guys want to see. Cost breakdown? Parts list?
Thank you to everyone for your support! If you enjoyed the video, drop us a Like!

Keep up the excellent work man, massive success will find you very soon! As for what to see in the next episode, id love to see the whole process for the detailing of your F02 and then if needed a 4 wheel alignment? A parts breakdown would be cool, and maybe even a breakdown how much Labour would cost if you had someone else do it, not sure if you have easy access to AIR for the FRU times though 🤔.

Again, great work. And yes the fact you did this N63 and came out on top is fantastic. I had no idea the rein ccv lines would be the issue! Wow. Something that I’d love to see next would be again something different. Like a x6 35i with the n54. That would be interesting. Almost all the n54 content is changed in some way and is not oe/oem from start to finish. Im also a fan or curious of the n20/b48/b58. I really love that you are willing to do projects a lot won’t do. No one really likes doing the bmw “problem area” cars for lack of a better term

Funny how Quebec has all these regulations about the compliance of a car's headlights but they can't seem to get their roads and city surface streets up to an acceptable standard. Crossing the border from Ontario is my trigger time to log onto FCP Euro and order suspension parts

Yup! The rein lines aren’t very good fitment wise. Strictly BMW parts for PCV due to the Rein not being constructed exactly like the BMW parts

Luckily VEMO is oem quality. I use them all the time and for most oarts i cant tell the difference between original and VEMO. I have no proof of this but im very much sure thst VEMO is the original supplier for those actuators, just bmw doesnt let them print their logo on dealership parts.

Great video, nice work on this impressive machine. Was there really no way that you could have fixed that small dc motor in the door look? I had one broke in my Lexus, Intook it apart and the brushes were gummed up by old grease. I cleaned that and it was good to go. Anyway, all the best from Holland!
@bimmer.doctor
@bimmer.doctor Жыл бұрын
Thank you! The issue wasn’t fixing the motor, I could have picked one up for a few bucks. The problem was that it was impossible to take apart the actuator assembly without breaking it. I had to crack the plastic apart and grind off the rivets. If I could have opened the assembly without breaking everything, I definitely would have replaced just the motor.

Also, I hope this isn’t to personal, is there any info you’d like to share about yourself? I see that you don’t want to be in the camera and that is totally fine. I just think after all these videos I’m curious to know a little more about you. How old are you? And is this what you do full time now? Thanks again.

I think I’ll do a face reveal if ever we hit 100k subscribers 😃. I’m 24 and I work full time in a completely unrelated field. That’s why it took me 6 months to finish just this one project.

@@bimmer.doctor wow. That is absolutely amazing. I’ll tell you there aren’t too many like you. 24? Very impressive. I just was curious because I’ve seen quite a few videos now and just wanted to know a little more about you. I’m 33 and still do not have the courage yet to tackle a project like this. Thanks for the response!

@@norm4907 I agree 100%. No way you just slap this car together no matter what the case it. If he can do this he can literally do anything that BMW makes. Anything. A n20 engine or b48 will be a walk in the park for him

Hey may I ask, how much vacuum do you have inside a engine now, after pcv replacement? I opened oil cap on mine and there's almost no vacuum. If I put plastic bag over oil filling neck, I can see there's vacuum but it seems very little. How's yours? Thanks
@bimmer.doctor

Yes, mine is exactly the same which is normal operation on these. Are you having issues?

@@bimmer.doctor I was changing air filters and noticed 1 pcv hose cracked. I needed the car to be drivable so I cutted of cracked ribbed hose and replaced with silicone hose. Checked for tightness, all good. Engine is running fine, no codes, has full power and healthy noise. Out of curiosity opened oil cap to check vacuum and seemed very little. Remember last time I checked this (year ago probably), there was noticeable vacuum inside the engine, you could feel it on the oil cap, but not so much that you couldn't open oil cap easily.
