Absolutely delighted for you as well as the memory of your Grandparents. Easy to imagine being reluctant to let her go on the water after all that history, work and commitment. I’m so glad you weren’t disheartened with the winch issue. Sounds like you’ve got some great advice there. There is the Vintage Model Yacht Group in both the USA and UK if you’re interested. You could participate with like minded friends!

Truly beautiful. I wish I had inherited such a gorgeous boat. The hull, the deck and the sails have superb lines. I'd be very happy to have that displayed in my house - I could look at it for hours. What a shame that your video gets so few views, while other mind numbing videos get millions.

We agree completely with you Steve, whole story about it is amazing, just imagine how much family happiness this lovely sailing craft brought from one generation to another... being able to give it to your kids, it is priceless. We were truly privileged to be a part of this, glad you love it too.
