Welcome to my year long lip declutter series, Project Apocalips. I did a rough count and I currently own around 450-500 lip products, so in 2021 I want to test all of my lip products at least once and ask myself "do I need this?". Good heavens, Kat, you shouldn't feel bad about keeping that hot pink JSC lippy. Getting rid of it certainly doesn't help or harm Jeff in any way, but replacing it is money out of your pocket, and product wasted. You already have it, just enjoy it guilt free.

I will continue to wear it but I would prefer to find a dupe if I can. Yes, I already have this but I would love to wear a shade like this on camera but I don’t want to wear a J* product so it does limit how much I can wear it. If I didn’t do KZbin then it’s a bit easier to say “just use it” but when I mainly wear a full face on camera, it does limit how much I can wear this ☺️

JS wouldn't be allowed to openly be the horrible person he is if people weren't literally funding his lifestyle. I'm so glad you are loving the series! I don’t really have a deadline. I just created categories that suit a monthly theme and they seem to be a lot more bigger than I expected. I’m going to see how I go with next month, and if it’s too much I will split the categories into part 1 and part 2. I say that I’m doing this project this year, but it’s already going to spill into next year... but I honestly don’t want to be taking photos of my lipstick every day all of next year too 😆

Ok, honestly, I was mesmerized by the eye look from the first second especially in combo with the lip. I say try to dupe the Vlada color with an existing shadow before you toss👍 I’m so intrigued about the Lunar Beauty Lippie ❤️ On that gorgeous pink you kept from JS, reminds me of one I recently reviewed from MAC called Hey! Good Looking. It’s in their new liquid lip love me formula. It is not as matte though but I think equally as vibrant and has a lovely wear down. There’s a PMG color too in her luxetrance formula called pink ultra ness which I picked up on sale and is very close in shade too👍😘

Oh man, I love Lunar's lip gloss formula and they have one of the only light nude glosses that flatters my skin. That color of liquid lipstick is so up my street. I'm going to check out the site to see if they have something close because I've just about panned my current cherry red liquid lip. Lunar is a sneaky good brand all around.

I really appreciate your honesty about Jeff, I think it’s very resonable. I bought 3 liquid lipstics before I knew what a person he is and I really like the shade Calabasas so I hope to find a dupe for it. You look gorgeous in this lipstick, I have a similar shade from Kylie called Kristen, but I don’t wear it often because it fades quickly. I don’t have problems with dry lips so I love Maybelline stay ink, they are the most long lasting lipsticks I’ve tried so I bought a bunch of colors and wear them all the time. PS if you can’t finish testing everything this year you could continue this series for the next year, I’d happily watch it 😀

Hmm re the J* WTF lipstick, I think Nars Greta might be similar? I own it and thought of it immediately when I saw jeffrey wtf on you. The colour looks pretty close from photos online. It's a satin formula so not the same as the liquid lip but I love mine - find it very comfortable. I hope you are able to find a good dupe soon! It sucks loving a product but not loving where it came from. Good for you for decluttering 😀

For the Jeff WTF lippie, you might want to try the Colourpop lux lipstick in Maxed Out. It's a similar super vibrant pink. I ordered it because I was looking for dupes for Fenty Beauty's Candy Venom (I remember you liked that too, but hated the consistency). The caveat, though, is the formula. It felt oddly thin and drying, but it did stay on for a long time.

Loving the series! If you can’t find any dupes in your current collection, maybe you could go to a Lip Lab (I think they have a store in Melbourne?) and have them match the colour. I had a liquid lipstick made to match a discontinued Chanel liquid lipstick I loved, and it looks identical. A bit spendy, but was worth it for me as I hadn’t found any other colours that were the same.

Yeah that’s definitely an option! That’s something I would do when I’m about to use up a discontinued/limited edition product that I love. It’s a bit pricey and time consuming just to dupe something I already own 😆

The Em cushions make your lips look huge and luscious. Me personally i actually don’t like lipsticks. I wish I did but nothing looks good on me except sheer nudes. The only lipsticks I tried recently was em cloud lipsticks but I now use them as blushers. They look amazing on the cheeks.

It is similar but it’s a very different finish. TM is a bit more sheer whereas this one looks almost neon bright, so I wouldn’t call them close enough dupes for my liking haha 😆

I used to have J* liquid lips and I just threw them out due to age n I used to the concealer I had. I still have his blue and Red palette but I got rid of the other ones I had. I understand why you have some of his products and want to get some use out of them. I havent thrown out my other palettes because they were expensive and I want to get my moneys worth from them.

I don't know how similar to JS Baby Daddy, but in the picture and swatch the color reminded me of the Sugar Cookie liquid lip from Too Faced holiday sets. Might be totally off, but I wanted to throw it out there for ya!

I really enjoy this series, these videos always inspire me to want to wear my lipsticks more.. too bad we still have to wear masks everywhere, so I'm always too scared that they would ruin them 😔 If I were you I wouldn't keep the lipstick as an eyeshadow, sure, it looks pretty but it's a shade you probably have over and over in your collection in formulas that are more comfortable

Hi Kat. Have ever tried using organic jojoba oil on the skin irritation on your eyelid? Try using it like an eye cream when you take off your makeup. Hope it helps.
