Nice, it’s going to be an off road high speed beast. I’m trying the opposite. Mojave shock towers and shocks on a shorter chassis. Hoping it will dive and squat like the Mojave but with better air control

I've been trying to do this since the day I got my Mojave I just really loved my KRATON and my Mojave so I had to wait until I could come up with a 2nd KRATON to build it from... and recently one of my subscribers offered me this v2.5 so I jumped on the chance... check out my community post I have pictures of the body on it

I've never owned a kraton and I got the motor ESC combo on sale for a hundred bucks and thought a 4s Kraton XL would be sweet. Other than a couple parts I took off my V1 Outcast I bought almost everything on Jenny RC. Extending the rear mounts was super easy to make the stock body plug and play but I'm already wanting something different lol. It just looks too much like every other Kraton. Anyway sorry so long winded, looking forward to seeing the next one.

My worst problem is the wing mount. Break it Everytime I take it out, wish they would have used m4 screws to strengthen it up

@@macmccartney5760 I've only ever broken 1 and it was on my v2 KRATON I have went on Amazon and bought a 50pk of the replacement screws which I have bent a good bit of but I never break the wing mount itself... but if I was having issues like many of my 6s cars and even my 8s outcast GARAGELIFE rc is where I'd go for a 3d printed one

It looks sick. The metal pivot balls help a ton. Interesting choice on 100k diffs, that’s a lot heavier than the other 4s builds I’ve seen between 15-25k

I run 100k in all my 4s cars the center come very think 500k I went 1 million... I'm not a fan of metal pivot balls but this was a used v2.5 and the rod ends felt a bit worn so I figured why not...

Thanks man it's actually an easy build if you have a KRATON or OUTCAST 4s as the donor car I lucked out and picked up a really nice v2.5 Kraton from a follower.... just had to get the chassis and driveshaft and too brace and that's about it the front body mounts a bit tricky to pull off but that will depend on the body you go with.... plus I added all them beautiful M2C upgrades cause I know me lol

At the beginning of the video of the slide show of pics how did you make the proline body mount washer things work with those body posts?

Ok so the donor car on the left... so it is a kit from pro line those caps come with long grub screws you cut the top off the post so you have a flat surface and drill a 2mm hole in the center and screw that grub screw into it then the cap threads onto the grub.... I actually don't use them... it came with the car when I got it used to build the xxl

Yep buy a little over an inch it's also wider to accommodate the hole for the body.... the new Mojave 4s is a big truck sitting side by side others

@@surfside75 so your right the v2 is longer then the v1 but I swapped my chassis to the Mojave 4s xxl chassis and that's how I got xxl theirs a full parts list in the description

i mean its the mojave chassis so length yes but those bodys are wide and meant to have the small wheels under it so not sure how it would work out plus short course bodies are not good for bashing

Almost exactly the KRATON 6s exb body would fit perfectly.... it's just a lot lighter.... and probably more responsive.... we will see the 1st head to head will be with a 6s model even tho this is only running 4s my exb v2 now has a max6 combo and some other goodies so not a stock vs stock head to head but should still be a good video

What did you use for the front body mounts, I have same body doing same build but the stock body mount isn't wide enough as I'm sure you know, edit : nevermind I found it lol 👍

Theirs a parts list with numbers in the description it is made using the Mojave chassis that's where the XXL comes from the KRATON is a XL chassis but to get the extra I used the Mojave just like the 6s cars making a KRATON 6s xl it uses the Mojave 6s chassis.... it was a very easy conversion tho I went with all the best upgrade and mods while building it....

@@webbyhawk_mk7 but really the only one 95% is kraton like towers shocks arms driveshaft bumpers are all specific to kraton/outcast not to mention body so kinda hard to call it a mojave plus its a scaled down version of the 6s kraton xl which again is a kraton 6s with a mojave chassis just not sure what your seeing that even resembles a short course on these builds
