Project Ascension: Consecrated Strikes Build Guide

im not sure about deadly indoctrination. buff looks nice on paper to improve CS and DS damage done, but in practice you lack of holy spells with very short cooldown to keep that buff alive. I'm in the same situation like you (2h consecrated strikes), but choosing a solid epic enchants with synergy is never end story. Atm im thinking about: - Ward of Light - 10% stronger divine storm isn't great, but taking damage from spells (what is quite rare) may proc extra divine storm to proc Consecrated Strikes. sounds mostly like a tank enchant - Faitful Flex - extra 10% holy damage by using CS/DS. With Crusader strike we can keep that buff alive by prioritize CS and DS in rotation. - deadly indoctrination? we cant keep it alive without short cd holy spell in rotation (so 0-3 stacks commonly). also there are issues to keep 2 buffs of similar type up together all the time - Weapon command? extra procs of SoC and free expertise. sounds always good, but not strong. - Emanating Light? our rotation haven't good gap and free talents to use strong consecration without rotation issues, but we can use it to improve holy damage by 5% with Sacred Rites - fist of Reckoning? again nice idea for instant, range holy spell, but lack of space in rotation and can't be used against target, that attacking you! :D - Judge, Jury, Executioner? Combo points from judgement? Why not, but how to use them? - Bountiful holy Wrath - Even stronger Holy Wrath during AoE? Sadly only during AoE... On quite long cd... and unbuffed by talents... Ok. We haven't any good synergy in Epic Enchants, but there is idea to deal with it. With Dual wield and slow (2.6 or better), but powerful main hand we can still use DS, CS and SoC, when we can add Hammer of the Righteous to our rotation, that can open a lot of synergy possibilities with build. For 2h ret i think, that One with The Light has much more synergy possibilities by adding Smite and Holy Fire to rotation.

I used this build with titans grip and only enchanted my off hand. My hand gets the second half of the RE and together with the seal of command RE it works very good

I would go for Seal of Command and Exorcism :)

Get 2x T4 and 2xT5 for paladin. Extra 10% seal dmg and % str would increase your dmg more

You should probably get mental quickness RE and Hunt vs Wild talent+RE if you have a lot of stamina

So I guess the second part of the RE is so bad its not even worth using? If youre running CS just for the 30% str, why not build around One with the Light?

It also boost spellpower by 30% of your strength, and that alone is really a really good buff. But! It also buffs players nearby with 5% strength. I did some testing with the RE's weapon enchant, and I actually get quite close in DPS - my hope is that with better gear, it will scale better. To answer the question about OWTL - I tried a lot of different builds around it, and I cannot get close to the DPS, that I do with Consecrated Strikes. But, tbh, I just like the feel of Consecrated Strikes better, and that's my primary reason for it.

I'm working on some new videos, showing more on the build - where I show that I don't got any mana issues what so ever - and with some simple buffs I do around 5.5k dps quite easely :) I hope this is helpful.
