Great video So fun. Love the fabric combinations. I’m thinking about making some. What size are your project bags? You seem partial to front zip instead of top,zip, any reason?

Thanks for watching! The bags vary a little in size depending on who makes them, but my favorite is 11x13. As far as design, when I first was looking at project bags they were all just being made front zip. I think its so the small notions and things don’t easily fall out when the bag sits next to you open as you work (this has happened in my few top zip). The lip catches things. And looking for small things on the couch or floor…not fun. All my knitting/crochet bags are top zip (as they are commonly used standing up on their bottoms) so yarn can be used while still in the bag or easily moved in and out. So I really think zipper placement is a craft specific design element purposefully intended.😁. That said, personal preference should be a factor as well. I have a friend who hates front zip and a co-teacher who will only use them because her cat struggles to get into the front zip bag.

Thank you. I do enjoy my project bags. 😄 I realized early onto KZbin watching that I could see things better when shown with the camera facing the items that were the focus. When I started my own channel I filmed that way and stuck with it. You get a good look at everything I’m discussing. Plus there is no glare off my glasses. 😉
