I cannot understand why, on earth, are...people complaining about graphics, rain droplets on the screen, physics etc? This looks brilliant! The sheer number of spoiled little brats who are addicted to winging is alarming!!! The gaming community is pathetic, mentally and physically draining. The level of ungratefulness is truly staggering! This is the best time to be a gamer regarding visuals, physics, immersion and variety. However it is also the worst time to be a gamer where content sold to you is incomplete. Companies get 100% of your money so that they can deliver you 70% of the product, following up with aggressive business model of DLC / micro-transactions (business model which only stays relevant in current market because little brats pre-order games because they can't wait one extra day, complain about DLC, day one 8GB patches and still vote with their lunch money). Not to mention, not owning the content as it is shifting to digital ownership controlled by those who provide you the service. The CD's we own (the hard copy of the game) is in fact incomplete product. I personally think the reason we are seeing this incomplete product trend is to convince us consumers that digital distribution is the future and is better for us because that way we get updates automatically and that the hard copy of the game is no longer viable in today's market. While I am rambling on, the argument regarding consoles and PC's. I prefer consoles because at least I know I am going to see far less players shoot and walk through the walls, get 100% accuracy in Call of Duty, etc... while on consoles it is somewhat regulated. PC gaming for me only stretches to RTS and RPG's, and MMO's for me are for consoles, period.

Sergey Suckmeoff I on the other hand can't see how playing a shooter - or anything FPP - is comfortable in any way. :P I have a gamepad (2 of 'em even) but I only use it when it makes things actually more comfortable to control, not less comfortable. I don't own a console, and I don't see a reason to. So on that point we differ. On the rest of the rant I would tend to agree, we do live in the best of times, and the worst of times. ;)

I came from PC gaming and I love mouse and keyboard but I find more challenge in playing with a game pad as it really gets you into finger aerobics. I love both, mouse and keyboard is far more natural for me, but change is good.

Sergey Suckmeoff Well, I can kind of see how you'd take it as a challenge... But nah, doesn't make me want to try it. It sounds like playing PES on keyboard and mouse just because "it's too natural" on the gamepad. :P It would drive me nuts. xD Even TPP games I usually feel are more comfortable with a m&k, and most of the time I do try them with a gamepad, but R-stick for camera control is just too annoying.

So overjoyed to see PS4 footage, thanks guys. This confirms how good the game looks and what I was hoping for, a large car count on track. Having this many ai opponents to race against just blows any console competition into the weeds! So happy!!!

Having a race manager/engineer talk to you in racing games is cool - i've only experienced it once before playing the PS2's Toca Race Driver 1 and 2 (i don't know why i never bought the third game :) ) - i'm looking forward to that again :) .

This game looks like the simulator of ages that nor GT or Forza can even come close to trying to intimidate. And I'm so glad I saw they added the Watkins Glen to the list of tracks, love that track.

In the closed alpha of the game,there are go-karts and several other classes. It's not just "basic" race cars only. Rally, Karting,mixed class,etc. C.A.R.S.

the best thing about this game is that it will be 1080p/60fps on ps4. why is this video 30fps? youtube supports 60fps videos now. the game have realy great graphics on ps4.

Adding MotoGP to Project C.A.R.S, like 'Tourist Trophy', but in the form of DLC, would put this game in my all-time Top 5 (and that's w/ gaming for 29 years)

Hey the little speaker on the DS4 already proved itself to me with Killzone Shadowfall and GTA 5. It's a nice little feature. That light bar though...

If you ever try out Transistor you can change the deault setting so the sword speaks through the DS4 and it is incredible, it really changes how the game feels :) - Hollie

Oh man that track list is amazing! I am definitely picking this up. I love GT6 but my poor PS3 is on its last legs and I need something GT-like on my PS4. I am totally enjoying Driveclub but this Project Cars game and that track list might be exactly what I've been waiting for, something more of a sim racer. Can't wait!

I really like that complete hud customization, small feature but well executed and superb. I wish a lot of videogames would take note of that because it might not be much(the usual is turning it off and on) but really something for the players. Idon't mind playing jrpg, or third person shooter with a little gimmick like this. :)

***** yup, I actually played it last week most recently as I have been playing the Japan tracks. Still the same broken AI, and not a great looking game unless the rain covers everything up. I do prefer Sim racing though, but I loved PGR series.

I do hope more Devs generally realise that More Options (on the options screen) is *always* a good idea - a game can be messed up by lack of personalising options - for instance like *The Witcher 3* has no horse "camera correct" turn off option which makes the horse useless for me - so I have to walk everywhere, just because that option is missing... :/

I must be the ONLY PS4 owner that loves the Dual Shock 4 Light bar?! It makes my apt look even sexier at night haha. I want it brighter! But it really is a great device especially with, KZSF,GTA 5.

This is the consoles version of Assetto Corsa which i think is awesome that there is now competent competition for Grand Turismo

This game is running in the Sim genre but they haven't clearly separated from the arcade users which I'm a little worried about but it looks nice and the different liveries of the F1 cars is nice I'd like to see some of the open wheel and F1 style racers to see what we can have there. I think many of the PC games still lack a clear F1 category i racing only has the Williams still I believe.

I've a question concerning force feedback wheels. I ask myself if there's a difference (assumed you use the same wheel) if you play Project Cars on the PS4 or a PC relating to force feedback. I could imagine that it is more detailed on PC but maybe it is not that demanding to hardware.

Great Job SMS. But Imho, this is the difinitive edition of NFS Shift 2. Im hoping that they improve car handling. I finish 93% on that game and it takes time and require a good skill in driving to level up which is a good thing.

Can you use the DS4 with the t300rs wheel attached? There are no speakers on the wheels to hear the pit lane calls.

I doubt it. one disconnects when you start the other, so the DS will be inactive when playing with the wheel. as I play mostly with headphones on I'll change the settings so the engineer mixes with the other audio instead.

Tons of options. Even the radiator opening, brake duct and diff settings, besides the usual suspension, aero and gearing stuff.

This game is everything I expected it to be. I really enjoy it, however I´m not very good. I have a very hard time keeping up with other racers, may they be real players or AI drivers. My problems aren´t the turns however but the straights. No matter what I do, everybody passes me on straight parts of the track and there is nothing I can do against it. Am I doing something wrong?

Not yet, and don't think they will add it. Cars have the wheel as their real life copies (british cars have it on right for example, german on left)

No rice in this sim, but there are many racing liveries and different colors available for each car and you can make your own skins on PC.
