Ahh same here bro. I want it on ps4 and one for my vita. Gt6 and gt psp were a letdown. But gt5 was great they really tried to bring it back to the good ol days and packed it with many new features. Sadly gt6 sucks a bit. No friggin importbof gt5 save file, no remote play to psp and vita... man what a bummer.

As a Gran Turismo veteran who isn't interested in formula style racing, is the touring career the closest thing to a normal GT style racing?

GT as in GT racing? You can race in GT4 and GT3 championships and endurance races, so yes, this is the closes thing to real GT racing. But if you're looking for car collecting game rather than racing sim, then no. Totally different.

Roy Rki by GT style racing I meant racing with normal road type cars (even if they are tuned into racing vehicles). Cars from manufacturers like Volkswagen, Nissan and BMW. Karts, Formula and Nascar have always been more of an annoyance in Gran Turismo than something I enjoy.

But these two are completely different gameplay wise. This is sim. DC is arcade/simcade. It's like saying Grid is a sim game that is like driveclub. Mr Know Nothing The entire game has all cars available from the start. You can TT, create races, or jump into one of many different careers, starting at any level you like. There are no credits and no grinding for cars.

Do you mean him breaking at eau rouge? In the rain in those cars even F1 breaking happens. It's flat dry or on inters, on wets you have to ease of or break.

You can't upgrade cars, but you can change their setup to your liking.

There are no part upgrades (as most are also racing spec and have to match other cars in the same series), but there's plenty of advanced car setup tweaking and tyre swaps, pit strategies, etc.

I trust PS Access with their ps4 gameplay videos. Don't want to watch earlier PC beta gameplay videos as i have a ps4.

SHAKEAL AHMED The console and PC versions will look almost the same. In fact, I'd challenge you to spot any differences in KZbin gameplay videos. It's damn hard for me too and I drive pCARS almost daily on my PC. Believe me, you can trust the gameplay footage from the PC version as well, just read the video description for any added detail, like what driving assists were enabled, graphics settings (consoles will run on High, one below Ultra), etc.

***** Project Cars is a racing simulation, geared almost entirely towards serious racing with realistic racing physics. DriveClub is more of an arcade game,with unrealistic physics and more geared towards the casual player. Pick whichever one suits your needs. Or both.

To add a little to what Johnny said, pCARS mostly focuses on track racing, while as far as I've seen Driveclub doesn't. Both are great in their own way, so really the choice should depend on your own preferences.

IntenseDraft Ovals are coming and Project Cars has the license for the Indy 500 and all the cars and their individual liveries. Several ovals are in the works. There is but one Nascar style car in the game though.

no matter what the developers do there is simply no pleasing everyone. I think it will be a good game. The reviewers will probably dissect it from top to bottom but that's the nature of this business. This game does seem to want to offer a little bit of something for everyone though. and there is currently isn't anything on any console with this much depth and customization. Driveclub although it looks spectacular. pretty much disappoints in the way of realism.

You can start with the slower cars and earn you way up the ranks. Compared to other games the difference is that this choice isn't made for you here.

Perfect to bring that now, now that they've delayed it yet again.... Untill mid-may. Their excuse is that they are stil polishing it. Worst excuse ever as many games come out and get patches with fixes etc later on. Ok it's always nice to have a great game from the start but delaying it for the 3rd time? From november 2014 to march 20th 2015, then to april 2nd and now until may (that's allready 6 months). They want to give us some extra's in return of all the delays. Well that would be nice if the game eventually releases, somewhere in the future.

It will be compatible from launch with no update needed further down the line to use it.

Lee Cutty it's doubtful that you won't need an update to use morpheus (in fact i'm sure you will need to download a day-1 update to enjoy fully the game). But as long as the Morpheus support is there, there is no reason to complain.

I guess that's a concession you have to make. I suppose for a racing sim 60fps is better than graphics where as with an arcade racer graphics helps sell it more than 60fps does.

Clearly an arcade game doesn't need 60fps like a simulator requires. Watch pCARS or any other sim at 30 and then 60fps and you will notice a huge difference, like day and night. Long live the 60fps racing simulations! :-)

Craig Sloan What looks like PS3 is 30fps. 60fps is a minimum for all racing games IMO. If Project cars was 30fps I wouldn't buy it now matter how good the gameplay or physics was.
