I owned a 1.8 Sri quite fun Used to love people's faces being overtook by a corsa c 😂 Don't get me wrong there not rapid but there quick enough for what they are. GREYHOUND1874 I have to disagree. I’ve had 7 cars and the cords was by far the hardest to work on. Over complicated modern GM design. Typical of most modern cars. Want an easy car to work on, MX5. simple.

I was nervous for you too when turning the key!!! I rebuilt a 1967 better engine after it broke a crankshaft many moons ago, the thing never ran again I was so disappointed 😔. Great stuff and love your honesty when you are 100% what things are.

I have the same Dewalt gun. The retaining ring on mine was shit straight out of the box. Used a couple of small pick tools to prise it apart and it was ok after then.

Might be worth replacing the indicator relay (the big yellow brick in the BCM box) with a brand new one for the sake of £3 or so. Very common for Corsa C indicator relays to start playing up after about 60k miles.

just recently started watching your vids, can i ask if the engine you put in came from a similar year to the car you have. reason im asking as i tried a similar thing (except all i was doing was putting in same size engine) with a 02 car but the clocks and other stuff i was trying to fit came from an 05 and the plugs on the back of the clocks were different so couldnt fit, i could obviously see you had no probs but im just wondering what year your car is and what year the conversion came from. regards john

Shafts will spin slightly with no wheels on when it's jacked up, it's normal

I think its a charcoal filter for fuel vapours, so as you said part of evap system.

The Savage Garage it’s a basically a small battery that powers an alarm speaker if the feed from main car battery is disconnected. However the power sounder units have a habit of the batteries inside degrading and setting themselves alight at least on some older Vauxhall’s. They’ve even been known to go up unplugged just sitting on the shelf after many months or so they say! If you can do without that feature of the alarm I’d remove it - it doesn’t really offer much benefit vs the risk of it being there
