Project E24 - BMW 633csi Restoration - Ep.5 - Reupholstering 40-Year-Old Front Seats

I am MORE than Satisfied with how good these seats turned out!
Episode 5 of the Project E24 Series - We are restoring both front seats in the 633csi. If you ever wondering how difficult it is to install new leather on your classic BMW Seats, here is a quick step by step of how I was able to do this for under $400 in 2 days for an E24. The feel and fitment of these premade REAL leather are incredible for the price.

Special Tools Needed: Hog Ring Pliers and Hog Rings
Seat Foam from local Fabric/Craft Store

was that red BMW's "Cardinal Red"? Need to do my seats but LSeat does not list that color

Yeah unfortunately they don't have OEM colors, but this red was the closest one they had. If you go on their site, you can get a sample card with all the different colors for free.

@@lucidwerkz You could try a Saphir leather restoration / protection beeswax cream in a slightly darker red shade like Burgundy or Cherry or Hermes to give the new seats a darker patina to better match the buckets in the back
