This is really shaping up nicely. My #1 hope for this is that it can replace SpeedTree and maybe even have some sort of tree asset library (free or paid) where we could get species-specific ready-made trees to toy with.

Grove is an awesome piece of tech! It's great to see all sorts of innovation in the space of 3d foliage modelling in Houdini. There are plenty of other great tools like Growfx, speedtree and Simple Tree Tools as well. Natsura is an extremely powerful foliage modelling solution that is pushing the boundaries of foliage modelling and simulation. it has unparalleled performance, flexibility, and extensibility. You are not limited to working within the confines of a particular kind of simulation. With Natsura Botanists and researchers will be able to implement their own physically-based plant simulations based off of the latest research, with very little or node code, while production artists and creatives will unlock powerful new workflows with unrivalled control, precision and speed. We're hard at work tightening up the UX, but we'll have more to share soon so you won't have to take my word for it for too long!
