@elizabethanncanstitch Жыл бұрын
hmm, so it might be different on other machines, but I remove the foot and line up the tape under my needle so that the red line is right under my needle and then use the built in grid lines to the right of my needle to make sure i'm sticking the tape down straight!

Love your folder!! I made a similar one today, big $$ saving tip: as the Bosal I use is 20", my bags will be 20" so I don't have the waste and with a 13.5 x 20"folder, I can put my stash of Fat Quarters to use
@tamiminor879 Жыл бұрын
Stephanie… I was wondering, if you start at 20”, do you lose any significant amount when you quilt the panels? I dont think I would want to go much smaller than 20, but I do want to make several so not wasting bosal is a great idea.

The reason that the ink is transferring to the vinyl is that inks are not heat cured. Like the olden days, you may need to use a cool ish iron to make the ink fully cured before putting it in the vinyl pocket?

Hi Tammy! I used to teach quilting, knitting and crochet in person at a shop in Austin, but that was 15 years ago! Now I just make how to videos. I film myself using my iPhone and a tripod with a ring light and edit all my videos with iMovie on my MacBook. I taught myself how to do it by watching how to edit videos on KZbin! I am definitely not an expert but I’ve had a lot of fun learning how to do it
