There is one thing, but when the machine frame twists on the pits, all the welding points will break.I think.

How does the hole for the gooseneck line up with the axle??

In my experience the exhaust will not melt a rubber mudflap. This is on a reg cab cummins though with 1/2 thick rubber mud flaps.

I hope you're right. These are 1/2" thick as well so hopefully they survive alright.
