i have a 2013 Ford fusion 1.6L EcoBoost that i got last year in January and this year in April i bought a few things from Steeda. First thing i bought was the Cold air intake i first saw it on a youtube video and when i heard the sound difference i told myself i had to have it. Buying, shipping experience was fast had no problems. i got the part but i had to go to work but once i came back home it was midnight and i didn't want to wait so i went to a spot where there was some light and installed it right then and there. First start up i definitely could hear the difference, i then took it on a test drive and could feel it accelerated a little bit faster. Even after a month that i bought the could air intake i haven't gotten tired of the sound it makes it's a small difference to some but i really like it and it was worth every penny. A week or two later i bought there Rear Sway bar and Strut tower brace to help with handling/body roll. Again i immediately felt the difference there was less body roll and a little bit less under steering, this was on old tires too. Now i have new tires and it's all working out great. I plan on buying a few more items that Steeda has for the fusion i know it's not a car that you usually see people customizing but since i'm going to keep it for a while i might as well have some fun with it. It has approximately 64,148 miles as of today. Spirited Driver.

Pardon my French, but I fucking LOVE my Fusion. I have a 2016 SE AWD - the fact that there is an enthusiast culture for the 2.0L EcoBoost, and the Fusion, is amazing. Thank you Steeda for seizing the opportunity to make these already fun sedans even more fun. I'm definitely buying some parts from you in the near future.

I currently have a 2017 1.5 ecoboost fusion with 130,000 miles. Do regular oil changes and keep up with the maintenance on it and its such a good car. Its very torquey and quick. I wanna add a steeda BOV and CAI eventually, just for sounds not really for performance lol
@mndlessdrwer2 жыл бұрын
The AWD system on the 2nd Ford Fusion like that one is legitimately great. It's always active, so there's never any hesitancy in how it handles before it decides to shift power around. It just does it all on its own with no drama. Plus, the Sport mode manual shifting is quite surprisingly quick and it behaves a lot more like a paddle-shifted sequential gearbox than a regular automatic transmission. It'll totally let you stall your car out if you shift too early, or it'll happily let you drop a gear and run into the redline, which is a nice touch. No nanny-state electronic shift governors. The stock brakes are also plenty good, but you can also swap them out fairly easily to some larger disks and calipers off of some of the vehicles from Lincoln which share caliper mounting fixtures. Or you can just buy replacements for the actual Sport model of the Fusion. Just make sure you keep to using the Ford OEM rotors unless you intend to track the thing, because they have good stopping power with truly astonishing longevity. I'm reasonably sure I have the full maintenance history for my car and, unless someone swapped the rotors on the front, I'm at over 125k miles on the original front rotors. And I've asked the guys doing my oil changes if they needed replacement every time I get it done. Even if they had been replaced, I'm at over 60k miles since I got the car. I don't know what kind of witchcraft Ford used to make those things, but I'll keep using them.

I notice what you didnt say: no throttle body controller like a Banks Pedal Monster that reduces the delay in your drive by wire. And no larger intercooler.

Hi, How is the countering of the turbo flutter/fluttering being performed? Your aftermarket CAI is being used in this set up so I expect there’d be more turbo flutter right? Is a BOV being used in this set up?

Ford really needs to take a long hard look at the interiors of the competition and get away from the bland and non-special. And for a sporty car, that gauge display is pathetic, with that tiny tachometer.
