I got a 2005 GG, this fall. An ec450fse. Still lots of snow in the bush so riding has been limited. I'm 4th owner so there's some stuff needs replacing. Finding out parts are hard to find. It runs great. It will be taken into places I've found out that the klr gets expensive to replace plastics😆

Exactly!! Lighter is better ! I have an R1250GS, which I love. But I won’t take it on dirt ! I just purchased a 107kg 54HP CRF450RX for the dirt. You need the right tools !

The abs sensor cable should originally be on the inside. It is mounted incorrectly. Just loosen a couple of bolts and put it inside the plastic.

The Red KTM looks great will be an epic bike. I bought a second hand bike from there a while back, I will never recommend that place to anyone. bike was meant to have a new battery and tyres, came with roadworthy (obviously dodgy as the tyres I got on the bike were stuffed). Battery was dead flat once I got it home, they must have jump started it when they brought it out. asked the guy about the tyres and he said pre delivery isn't his job and the guy who does it was on holiday and raise the issues when he gets back.

crash knobs ok if drop it on road or hard top track , can see them being ripped off in gnarly off road stuff rocks/deep washouts etc ABS line feed it behind the fork like on the 690 had them cable tie to fork/brake mount to keep away from the abs disk/hub i ripped all my ABS off ran direct HelPerformance custom brake lines & a trailtech voyager pro so still had all the idiot warning lights speedo tacho etc but No abs crap

The tool kit is rubbish. You will find there is a place under the seat to hold the torx bit used to access the side cover. Side stand dongle is a must. Break it and you’re walking. Check all your radiator hoses. It’s common to find loose from the factory. Take extra special care of the radiator. Make sure nothing touches it. Make sure the guard for the radiator is more open at the bottom to all ow stones that get in to get out. Grease your swing arm bearings from new. Set the sag right and the geometry is very sensitive to ride height to have it steer properly.
