The reason why aside from Skeith the other bosses are arguably fodder is because 1) they needed boss monsters 2) They needed a reason for Kite to use what is a defective bracelet that could kill you with each use by the games mid-point. and 3) Because Morganna is a major ham who intentionally based herself as the Cursed wave. The villain of the Epitaph of Twilight which was written by Emma Wielant. Harold Horewick's unrequited love interest and arguably Aura's mother. The eight phases are actually manifestations of Morganna's will except maybe Skeith since it controlled Haseo back when he was Sora and according to the G.U. series, it still identifies itself as Sora to an extent when dealing with Haseo. Also in Project X Zone Skeith returns even when Morganna is supposed to be dead and was at least at first acting on its own. The eight phases were basically Morganna giving Harold a huge middle finger to him after she killed him.

I wouldn't say defective, more like his character isn't programmed like what the phases are.

Skeith isn't even the hardest of the phases though...

Skeith is still apart of Morgana and operates just like the rest of them, though it seems that Sora had some influence.

@@3nderoxii615 you are just at your weakest when fighting this boss in comparison to the other 7 phases so that why it seems so much harder in comparison.

I love that all of the boss themes build on the previous and add extra. Except Macha.... but.... well... reasons.....

@charlie120asc Now that I think about it, Tarvos from this this angle looks eerily identical to a Treble Clef, or at least a Harp. Probably because when you read between the lines, Tarvos is part of the Epitaph of Twilight, and in the game, the Epitaph is supposed to read like an Epic Poem that's usually accompanied by music playing the background. I imagine it was like, "Tarvos remains to sing the song of Punishment and merciless cruelty".

Holy crap, you're right! That is really really cool. :D You could probably do it with any 2 Phase themes, since they're all played at the same tempo (except for Macha), but chances are they probably won't sound as cool.

@leskoman Has to be almost exactly the same time. The timestamp has to be less than a second off if you want them to go together.

This boss is the second hardest boss accounting to naka

Honestly I thought of him as the longest to take down. Contrast that to the G.U. version of Tarvos, more humanized and given female characteristics because of Pi, who is the first of the Epitaphs you fight that is shockingly easier to take on. Ironic! Let's examine this further. Innis is the second of the phases you fight, but is arguably weaker than its' G.U. counterpart, with more human characteristics, which comes equipped with Dual Swords and manages to get close to you before cutting you up BIG TIME.

@@1aundulxaldin its due to when you fight them in game the later you fight a boss the harder they are going to be in most cases as games are meant to scale up this isnt always the case though there are spikes

@@azurephantom100 Honestly on a overlevel to remove the chance of data drain run by the time I got to this boss I made Tarvos a literal joke. While I didn't achieve my original goal I was literally able to beat him so quickly that none of it's other abilities were ever used.
