I recognized the painted font from the community kit too. I didn’t even notice the quote card was missing the I’s… but really how many times do we need the same quote in the same kit on cards and embellishments. It keeps happening month after month!

I agree. I don’t understand why the same quote is repeated so much. And the same fonts and so many tag shapes.

lovely! i also dislike pastels, which is one reason i'm actually glad they aren't using the same colour palette as past years' april kits which was not for me. i picked up this kit as a one-off and i'm crossing my fingers for seeing more of the colours i like in future kits (true/vivid with cool undertones). good luck with your move, hope it goes as smoothly as possible!

I discontinued my SBTM kit in January. I thought the new kit was ugly. It had some weird bird cards etc. I'm glad I did. The painted vellum stuff isn't my thing at all.

I'm honestly over the repeating a quote, pattern or element more than twice in a kit, but especially across multiple kits (the it's a new dawn quote, the painterly punctuation). I'm also just really over the tags. I feel like almost every kit released this year has at least one tag element in it - die cuts or chipboard, sometimes both. Yes, some of the shapes are different, but the May 2024 kit reuses the same die cut pack they had in January, including the month stories tags. Anyways, I love how your spread came together and always love your photos. Good luck with your move!

So agree about the tags! Way too many! And the new Dawn quote was in January too. Seems like they are phoning in the design.

Thanks so much Alex! And I'm with you about repeating all the quotes across kits. And the tags - oh my OVER IT! After seeing the May kit, that's four sets of chipboard with tags. Plus all the die cuts too.

@@KashaGage not to mention if you get the story kits, I think the first few sets had tags as well. It’s simply too many friggin tags
