I loaded H4831SC with a 150 Berger in a 24" Krieger 270 Win at 3000fps. Sold that rifle (dumb). Good news is load works just as well in my tikkas but is slower. No deer knew any better though

That is a great load. I have found that Tikka rifles tend to be "slower" than other rifles..........

Double Tap (Cedar City) is Reloading Them For The 270 Winchester Too! However, Quickloads (Google It) Says That Several Powders Will Get You Over 2,800 ft/s (To 2,820 ft/s) - A Standard 30-06 Factory Load is 2,700 ft/s! You Should Consult GRT or Austin (Reloading Weatherby) To Help You! The 270 Winchester, With Modern Bullets and Powders, Isn't Your Grandfather's 270 Anymore! 😜
