PROJECT MAGNUM (working title) is a new looter shooter game developed by Nexon subsidiary NAT GAMES.
PROJECT MAGNUM is a PC/console-based game that combines RPG play with third-person
shooter combat. It presents beautiful visuals and attractive and unique characters based in a sci-fi style player vs. environment worldview. It also provides exciting battles using various skills, actions, and guns, as well as the fun of highquality PvE shooter battles that target huge bosses.
Project Magnum will be available in most major markets worldwide. More information on the

This seems like the kind of game that will entice me with gadgets in the trailer but in actual gameplay will take about 12+ hours to unlock and then have nothing else to do but wait for sony to "allow me" to pay an additional 30 dollars to use the toys I grinded for in a new DLC campaign.... Looks really interesting, some nice Lost Planet vibes at some points in the trailer. But as i always say with these kinds of games, more and more online only looter shooters are poping up, same with online only co op shooters, there are too many competing with each other and after a month the player count drops so much. It seems to me that it would be smarter to focus on a quality single player experience (with co op as an option), you can never get too much of those. We technically don't know if this one will be online only so there is hope, i just hope it can be played offline too so the game is not inevitably lost after the player base drops and servers are shut down.

I think Genshin Impacts way of doing it is pretty decent. You can get on and play it like a single player game at any time or play with friends, but you're not forced to have others with you. In a RPG game it really helps for immersion and personal experience.

Take for instance; Papers, Please, Disco Elysium, Hotline Miami, Spec Ops: The Line etc. It shows that when games are made with a singular vision in mind, and when they're created by committee.
