Rust in 'all' the usual MGB places, got a lot of work ahead, look forward to following your progress on this one.

Hello Tim. Just found your channel. Met you at the NEC a couple of years ago. Love the Merc. It will be interesting to see the MGB taking shape. The rotisserie must be a godsend in such circumstances. I could have done with one when I did my 100E but to be honest I don't think it would have stood being suspended from each end. Dropped you a sub. All the best, Mart in Solihull.

A Mercedes of this series was my second car in 1987. It was a 200 Diesel poverty spec. Even a heated back window was missing. Thanks for the update, Tim. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Martin from Lake Constance, Germany.

Great progress on the restoration of your MGB GT a lot of cutting grinding and welding to come
@paultaylor9652Ай бұрын
It's probably been bad for a number of years as corrosion takes a while to get a hold on a car to that extent, I'm sure you'll turn it around. You own some beautiful cars, especially the Mercedes, Merry Christmas.

😮 Just an idle thought, what's the cost £/HR of a new heritage MG shell vs cost of all the panels and labour ?
@richardporter6201Ай бұрын
Definitely worth considering time and money.
@CambrianClassicsLtdАй бұрын
Gt shells are £17k now! It might be faster but not cheaper!
@stippolyteАй бұрын
@@CambrianClassicsLtd wow, didn't think they'd be anywhere near £17k. So welding, filling etc it is.
