this definitely will be a gacha live service game, the success of genshin opened a 'new game era' , others companies now want a piece of that cake as well , especially after they saw how big profits genshin bring to the table , not only this im pretty sure 2024 will be full of gacha anime related games, and i also predict that old AAA companies will follow soon with their own gacha games version , if you were scared about Microtransaction in games now you have to be terrified by this business model (gacha) :) I just hope that such games will be really really F2P with gacha be optional for who is willing to put money into the game , if not else Genshin Impact got popular for this reason ,indeed you do not have to spend money to enjoy the game and with the free premium currency you get during your playtime you can even afford premium character/weapons for free as well .

My only hope is that when everybody is trying to scam us with gacha, then we will set our targets on gacha and we can do to it what we did to lootboxes. I'd much rather pay $60 for a complete game and $30 per expansion or $15 per character pack rather than be forced to spend $180 for a guaranteed roll of the anime girl of the month. Not to mention the incessant grind of dailies combined with stamina/energy costs. Got tricked by gacha once - never again Tech otakus scam the world
