@@Vivinko Unreal Engine 5's hyper realistic Metahumans/etc models can be used outside of the graphics engine btw. A game studio does not have to use them, but it was always an option.

Unreal is a really powerful amazing engine that can do a lot of great things, but at the same time it's a pain to optimize video games so they can run well. I know most of the budget will go to car licenses and choose to go for quantity over quality and I don't mind it because it's not a AAA game. And using IRL shot scenes for video game trailers is not a new thing. It's much cheaper then making and focusing money and resources for an amazing render that is 1 minute long is just pointless.

@@tommygunmang2261 No, it wasn't online only. When the servers for Test Drive Unlimited 2 were shut down on the Xbox 360, you could continue playing offline as normal. If a server was offline or unavailable/accessible, the symbol on the map was red, I think, and if you were connected online, the symbol was green and suddenly there were players on the map.
